Do you want something to look at, or a means of transport?

I want a mixture of both, something nice and something to drive. No my grandad might not be mad but I just dont like Skodas I feel I am too young for one :P maybe when I am older.

How old are you? I'm nearly 30 and I'd happily drive a Skoda. I first drove one when I was about 19, it was a Felicia and not long after Skodas started being made by Volkswagen, and I thought it was a great little car.

It's been a long, long time since I heard a Skoda joke, but I still hear Fiat jokes all the time (Fixing It Again Tomorrow etc etc).

    What about a Focus?

The VRS is 130bhp with recaro seats, 6spd box and white dials! How young do you want to feel?!

As posted above, you need to prioritise looks or reliability. I, personally, cannot stand the way Renault looks (even having worked for them for 3years!), but my experience of them mechanically is appauling. A BRAND NEW megane that I was supposed to own as a company car for 3months, was actually in the workshop for all but 2weeks of that time, so I chopped it in quick! They have very poor engines and numerous issues with electrics especially.

I am 23. I have decided I dont want a FIAT anymore. I have looked at focus' as I do like them but I really only want a 3 door car and I couldnt find any 3 door on autotrader upto £8000 in diesel, do they do them?

I just like the look of this car; http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201020359257860/sort/priceasc/usedcars/engine-size-cars/2l_to_2-5l/maximum-age/up_to_3_years_old/price-to/9000/fuel-type/diesel/maximum-mileage/up_to_40000_miles/model/megane/make/renault/postcode/dy148eb/page/1/radius/1501?logcode=p

Can anyone give me any of their thoughts (apart from its French!!)

    Thanks
