In a word.. tough.. we agreed ages and ages ago because the thread runs mon-fri the weekends would be permitted to be filled with chatter.. and so long as a post has some flying content it was fine.. Just because some nutter on another board got in a snit why should we change what we do..
Now, Stop being such a drama queen.. you let too many people bother you with their nattering.. if we want you to shut up we will tell you.. ok?
So, shut up and go to polish your chickens!
That's what I thought you might sayI was just giving the critics and nay-sayers the opportunity to have their say through the correct channels, rather than nattering on an irrelevant thread

Don;t be daft, AB's a Fly-lady now, so get your pinny on and shine that sink:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
A flylady for every occasion - even occasions I never knew existed.
I love being a part of this thread because it is a lovely supportive community - and, sometimes, talking to a 'faceless friend' is a real help...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

My friend at work and I have his pics plastered all over the office walls, as laptop wallpaper, and I had him for my avatar for a while last yearHe's back with his science prog on Radio 4 this week. Pic for all those not aware of his geeky loveliness ........... swoon
ooh hex - if I plant garlic cloves (which have sprouted) will they grow into new bulbs?
They will, but may be nesh mediteranian ones and be a bit slow to grow. Nowt to lose, though :jEggs and jam for us I believe. Ooh, jam omelette.
My mother used to make a lovely souflee omelette, filled with HM jam :j:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

Was your mother a fan of the Pauper's Cookbook by any chance? that's where I learnt to make a soufflee omelette0 -
PP - my Mum used to be horrified when I had vulgar HM jam toasties for lunch. We used to have jam omelettes, jam roly poly and my favourite silly name pudding, poor knights of windsor.
Kazw - very kind of you to offer and much appreciated, but I had been saving them for my mum for a while so I have quite a few.
Greenbee - I have the paupers cookbook too - pork and beans from it remains the worst thing I have ever made though which put me off the rest.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

BUT if you don't like it, that's one to evict to make space for new and exciting things0 -
I need to put the next lot of laundry on, [STRIKE]put towels away[/STRIKE], make cuppas and do some work with DS2. Then it's bathtime for him[STRIKE] (DH is doing this :j)and I'll make a start on tea.[/STRIKE] Made, decluttered and (almost) cleared away. Got to work tonight (write reports, organise portfolios and send some e-mails), so I'm trying to pace myself. I can't afford to put any of those jobs off until the morning.
I've wrestled with the internet ever since DS2 went to bed. Should have probably start working on other tasks first, but got a bee in my bonnett about sorting it out. Think it's ok now.
I'll go and have a quick look at the new thread now, then cuppa and work.0
