Am about to say goodbye to OH who's off to his see his dad - on this front i think the next few months could be very tough:(:(. I shall persist with the decluttering of c***! (mostly his!)

Weather forecast not good for this week - so laundry could be fun:mad:.

DS has an 11 hour shift at McDonalds today finishing at 8.30pm tonight...followed by a shift starting at 7.45am tomorrow:eek::eek::eek: - poor lad - what he does to keep that car on the road.

    Morning all

Sorry I missed the end of the last thread, but my internet connection was playing up again. I'm in this week, but won't be able to keep up with the thread, as I'm back at work.

Today should be interesting, because NN? has kind of gone back on his word to have DS2 today. I went round yesterday to sort arrangements, and neither he nor his wife (who I consider friends) seemed entirely comfortable. They then asked their daughter (almost 8 and DS2's friend), who clearly didn't want DS2 to come to the Science museum with her and her Dad. Nobody was really clear about anything, so I just said to the girl that it didn't matter and that we would make other arrangements - I felt so awkward, especially as DS2 was there with me. I must speak to them about it, but will need to think carefully about what to say. I didn't think there was a possibility of them backing out, even though the kids fell out on Friday, and it's made things really difficult for us today. DH will have to take DS2 to work with him and he'll either have to stay there, or DS1 will have to transfer him to his Nan's.

I don't want to fall out with them in a serious way, but need them to understand that this has caused us a lot of problems. I wouldn't mind, but it was actually her idea to start with!

OK, back to flying. I will try to keep the regular decluttering going downstairs, and I didn't get round to sorting the clean washing yesterday, so that needs doing. Will see what I can manage. Hope everyone has a good day. x

Back to work today - so far this morning HHI done, bedding stripped and washed - just about to put it on the line so it'll probably rain!

  • Morning flygang,

We have an inset day today so DH & I are both off to have some family time after DS & I being away last week. We were planning outside things but its getting very very grey outside so plan B may be aclled for.

Currently having a cuppa and finding my table - making a list of a few things that need at least two people to do (whilst he's here ;)). Ok - time for showers & clothes - be back later..

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.

Miss A wants today to be an inset day! She is still worn out from all her activities of last week. I have offered her the day off but she said no as I knew she would want to go to keep her 100% attendance up for the year ;) She is determined that she is going to Pizza Hut again (the reward for those achieving 100% for the year)

Was not the best of days yesterday as it was DH's 4th anniversary but we got through itm onwards and upwards as they say.
