Thanks to the awesome ones who do so much! All Hail you!

Toots enjoy your trip. I hope you have a fab time!

I'm gonna try and be more involved this week, need to, my little home is not looking so homely, although it does seem smaller ( I think that's the clutter:o). Though, I'm gonna have to sort out my hayfever meds into some sort of order coz I'm taking a little of everything and my face is still itching, my eyes are worse though, I hate hayfever:mad:!

    Right, list:

Monday ~ Kitchen and dining room!
    Level One
    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Level Two
    Clean the oven and hob
    Wipe the units and appliances
    Level Three
    HHI
Wipe out the fridge.. meal plan for June!
    Scrub the sink and tiles
    Extras
dust and deweb.. make sure you do any blinds/lightshades too!
Empty and wash out all the smelly bins
Sort through a cupboard.. Only put back what you will use..freecycle or fling anything else!
Bake a cake/buns or prepare a new meal for our family!

Like that last one.....I do want to make some Red velvet cupcakes, though I have left my muffin tin at my friends. Might just buy a new one when I finish at lunch tomorrow, we'll see.

Hmmmmm. To have another sambuca or not? I don't have to be up quite so early tomorroow coz my lovely daddy's picking me up. Yay:j

Welcome to all newcomers, old timers.. and those who have been here a while.. :p

Children back.. scrubbed and in bed.. finally!!

Kh has apparently been told they are closing his dept but they are keeping him on. He has said he will make a contribution towards DD1's prom dress which is better than nothing. Though he didn't say when!!

I have had confirmation from the netmums lady who is after picking up the bag of Tiddles stuff tomorrow.. so I may do a swifty through her chest of drawers in th emorning.. I meant to do it today but got waylaid doing nothing at all!!

PP.. I'll PM details in a bit and have a snoop through the piles of 'stuff' on the landing table and see what trousers I can find for your boys. I'll not offer you DS2's shirts as they are fit for nothing but the bin once he is done with them!

Pigpen.. Don't worry if you don't have any. I will just be glad to see these ones go to a good home.

Just made a fruit platter for the twins' supper. DS1 commented on the fact that the watermelon tasted a bit odd. I had forgotten after a few glasses of vino last night, I had decided it would be fun to make a vodka watermelon :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Luckily there wasn't much voddy left so it only had a hint of alcochol in it!

The twins and I have another week off school yet so I am going to try and have a productive week and maybe even rope them in to sorting out their [STRIKE]sty [/STRIKE] room

    Evening all,

    Thanks to the usual suspects.

Toots i hope you have a lovely relaxing week.

Valli i'm glad your date went well but we need more details than he has nice hands and skin.:D

    Welcome to all the newbies.

We went swimming earlier and my first ever boyfriend was in the pool with his children. I haven't seen him for years and i looked a right state with no make up, hagrid hair, a nice t shirt tan. :o Not to mention the rest. I bet he was thinking he had a lucky escape.:rotfl:I tried to avoid him by staying in the shallow end with Ds2 hoping he wouldn't recognise me, but OH kept insisting i go off and swim and he would look after him. I just mumbled a quick hello as i swam past.

Anyway i'm off to have a bath now, i need to be in bed at a reasonable time or i'll never get up in the morning.

    Hi all
I've been quiet of late - keeping up with the thread takes soooo long! Thanks to Flylady command as always! My house can be pretty up and down in the tidyness levels at present with having moved in recently, so its not just flying basics, but flying +!

Anyway, this weekend I have got 3 loads of washing done and dried outside for a change.... Not that I've ironed any of it yet. In fact, I dont seem to have ironed for a while

What else, well I've bveen doing lots of tidying in the garden, and ripping out mountains of weeds and self seeded plants, I've stained my shed, the updating of the kitchen is done bar a couple of lights, and I've ripped up the horrible downsatiars hall carpet and underlay, and spoent today painting the wooden floor whit (3 coats), and have ordered a lovely rug.

Its much cleaner and fresher feeling, the carpet was a lovely cheery red, but clung onto dog and cat hair like it was possessed.... However, I maybe didnt need to worry about the animal hair so much, my cat went walkabout last sunday and hasn't been home since, so I suspect wont be coming home.:(:( I guess thats cats though.

So, Im in as ever, I may not stick to the lists though my mum arrives on Friday for 10 days, so it may be handy this week so everythings ship shape for her!

    Hello everyone!

I'm back (did you miss me? :p) and desperately need to get back on top of things. I have let the cleaning slide (hangs head in shame :o) and am now really unhappy with the way things look again....(the spiders are coming back:eek:).....

... though my garden is looking pretty good, 'cos that's where I've been for a few weeks! :D

I'm going to tackle the kitchen tomorrow and try to make a really determined start to the week.

Thanks, as ever, to those at Command HQ: Toots have a lovely retreat, and thank you for not chopping me off the list (yes I've been a bad girl, but I promise to try harder).

Heading off for an early night now: love to all

    MissH
