I am going to try to be in this week whilst at home (probably only light duties though!). DH hoovered the kitchen floor tonight so that's a head start. I want to sort through the freezer tomorrow too - how come even though it is full there's never anything we want to eat?
Like I said to Poohbear, flying by proxy is perfectly legitimate - let your DH do the heavy stuff.:o On a practical note, when I last defrosted the freezer, I noted down everything that was in there, how much, and which drawer, and created a spreadsheet with it all on. That way I don't have to root around looking for dins, I can just look at the spreadsheet and know where to go to. I have one for my tins'n'packets cupboard, too. All you have to do is make sure to update it when you use or buy something. Just an idea.:o

Off to do some flying now *flaps wings pathetically*:rotfl:

When I get time today I am going to clear the two most annoying things that I look at daily and they irritate me...

one is the carpet area in our bedroom by the radiator...full of rubbish and needs hoovering

the other is the area behind the toilet where all the cleaning poducts are stashed, it just looks so mucky I need to clear it out.

Oh and of course I'm working today too.

Welcome all lovely new flyers and returners

She really should try not to get so worked up about them.. unless she wants to do medicine (which requires an A at GSCE) noone is ever interested in your GCSE results once you get past about 21!! I don't know anyone who has been asked for their results once they did a higher course or reached 'mature' age.

My DH works in industry, and is involved in a partnership with a top university, helping them select students for science courses. I can assure you that for some courses, your GCSE results are very much taken into account when selecting A-level students for interview.
