Morning all,
Belated thanks to the Flylady Cabinet. I'm shuffling in this week. Had a lovely holiday last week but health is not great at moment so low-level flying will be done. I see Toots is off on retreat, hoping she is having a lovely restful time. Can't see any evidence of Lady Liberty or Diva so I hope they are ok? Hope Danny is on the road to recovery Carlsberggal? Also spotted a mention of Lamewolf feeling low, hope you are hanging in there. Hoping everyone else is in good health and spirits and sending best wishes if you are not. Sorry if I missed anyone's birthdays, hope you had good ones.
Just catching up with a spot of paid work, nurse appt at 10.50, Mr T due 12 - 2 and washing/ironing mountain to tackle, if anyone has any spare crampons or pitons and a very long rope...?

Am just watching mary, queen of shops from last night as it is a bakery dh knows!
I watched that last night, the owner was an absolute horror:eek: She was mean to just about everyone she met, and what a superiority complex! The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

I'm having a coffee and a sit down now before i pick up DS2.0 -
DH just drifted in with a cup of tea (he's working from home today) so I've sat down a little early to drink it. Well done Holly - you did masses. I've worked hard, but crossed nothing much off yet.
Sitting room is now tidied at last so I can whoosh round it, and I've got the Dyson, the polish, the dusters, the damp cloth and the Windolene out. Got to empty the grate - it's full of old ashes - because I'm fed up of them travelling all over, and we won't be lighting a fire now till September. Trouble is - it's raining outside, and it's a long way to the compost bins....
Plus I sewed three buttons on a shirt which has been waiting around for about a month, lying on the back of the sofa, for me to do it. So that's gone away in the wardrobe at last.
Next blitz will be the cleaning itself. I'm going to finish my cuppa, get something out of the freezer for tea tonight, and start again at 11:15-12:00ish, or until finished... be right on your tail, GnB....
Join me if you can

Morning all
Busy one last night, though managed to do a few bits and pieces - and scrubbed the bath, which came up beautifully with a bit of cream-cleaner and plenty of elbow grease! Looks like a different bath now; I'm a whole-hearted convert to the strange and terrible powers of Sainsbury's Lemon Cream Cleaner :T
Sadly the kitchen's in a bit of a state at the moment as I've had to drag the contents of the cupboard-under-the-sink out to fix the hot tap (fitting to the sink underneath had come loose, so all water was dripping through the gap and soaking the cupboard and contents) - once that dries out it'll all go back in. I've also got a wall-cupboard sat in the way in the middle of the kitchen which needs to go up on the utility-room wall, hopefully tonight. And the dining-room table's covered in plantpots and seed-trays too, which need to have homes found for them on windowsills and such; mind, when all that's sorted I'll be able to finish the kitchen and dining-room stuff, no worries0 -

Sister been up and she has an interview today in a cafe and a viewing of a house at 1.15 fingers crossed it works out. The house could go very quickly and they will need till the end of the month to find the money. I do more worrying about it than she does.:rotfl:There to head into the housing people today and get there name down incase the private house is gone.
I need to go to the post office, up to the shops, lift kids from school, be back in time for oil man and wait on sparky. All go...:D I may even get some flying done today.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0
