froddy - it's in Poole, but think it's sorted. Cousin's wife has said they can pick it up and bring it up north when we're all there for a family party. Should've asked her in the first place!! Other cousin (who lives 5 mins away but we never see) has been down to visit in the meantime but hadn't bothered to get back to my email asking him to help.
And sat night, yeah I know...we arranged ages ago. Plans are afoot to combine food and footie now though
Ah, tis a bit far! Glad you got it sorted though.
Please check for footie matches before making any plans between 11th June and 11th July
Off to bed now so night all, sleep well xx"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Oh Froddy they have their uses but boy sometimes I wish they would forget some things haha like when DS1 remembers loudly my trousers came down once when running....they're like elephants for important or embarrassing things but can never remember where they put their coat etc
Triker I tried that game but the boys bin anything that doesn't belong to them/they see no need to keep so I have to filter their bags.....yes add DP to 'the boys'

Jojo - just wanted to say enjoy yourself. Life is too short for what if's. I am 46 this week and hubby and I sat at the weekend trying to work out what exactly we have done with our lives (not a lot). If we died tomorrow we have done absolutely nothing that we could be remembered for or that we can show for our lives. hope that makes sense (it doesn't to me lol) I am tired and need bed having just decluttered some of my delicious (if I do say so myself) chocolate cake . Kate :hello:0

He is gorgeous. Stocky, muscular, thick dark hair, natural suntan, big sapphire blue eyes, dimples, the kind of lopsided grin that just melts you inside.
But I didn't want to be someone's wife. I was 20 when we started seeing each other and I had only ever had one boyfriend before him - KH1. When he did the big down on one knee thing six years later, in front of all our friends, I was the commitment-phobic, legging it in the opposite direction as fast as my little legs could carry me.
Mind you, he has, to put it mildly, broadcast his wild oats in such a way since then that it will require a combine harvester to deal with them all.
He claims it's all my fault, as if it weren't for my callous and cruel rejection, he would be sitting in front of the telly with his pipe and slippers, waiting for me to tell him to get his feet off the sofa. I tell him if it wasn't for my abandoning him, he'd have needed to be put to sleep, as he would have gone loopy being kept in captivity.
I might go along with this insane driving lesson scheme. How badly wrong could this go? (rhetorical question, people!)
I'll tell him I'll even put out a spare litter tray in view of his alleged semi-domesticated status!
Jojo
This makes me smile, been there done that.........:o (cost me a fortune)
I know I don't know all your story, but I'd go FAST in the opposite direction, and steer well clear!!
Good luck with what ever you sort out.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning everybody
Thanks again for all the birthday wishes and the magnificent cakes - they were lovely and I woke up this morning feeling (and looking) like I'd eaten all of them!! It's Slimming World for me today as I intend to be slim and gorgeous by the time I'm 47 (yeah, yeah).
nannyboo1 - I'm also wondering what to do with the rest of my life especially with DD2 going up to secondary school in Sept - it's a big change for her and me! (and I'm going to have to teach her to tie a tie!).
Wasn't as lazy as I intended to be yesterday. I tidied and hoovered the lounge and the kid's bedrooms and changed their beds while OH mopped the kitchen floor.
Many thanks to those running the thread and positive vibes to all who need them.August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
