    Evening

Busy day at the paid job again today

Tea cooked for DS as DD out and DH late back from work.

    All cleared away

Kitchen S/S done as I dont feel great and I have to do some work for a case I am working on again for a meeting tomorrow which I could do without.

Have had a quick flick through the thread but too much to remember so hope all the new peeps enjoy and have successful flying missions, welcome back to all those returning with new wheels on their wagons.

Hugs to cyclingyorkie's family, LadyLiberty, Diva and anyone else I have missed.

OOOppps seems I've fell off the wagon a bit, anyway after getting some of my life sorted :o a bit of studying caught up on (still some way to go but getting there.....) and other such poop I've got a poo tip for a house and it's getting me down so I'm back to be kicked into action to get myself in 'order' again.

Kitchen is a good start, could do with finding the benches again

Hope you are all well, hugs where needed and a thank you to those who wished me well with the competition....I'm also back as I need to save up for the petrol and spending pennies for the holiday in France I have won :T

    Love from me x x x

Fantastic to see you posting lilme and excellent news on the holiday

Wont get back on tonight I think so happy flying for tomorrow

Hi everyone - sorry I've been MIA ... finally got the keys for my new house on friday (:j:j:j:j:j) so barely had time to get on the computer and post with all the cleaning, painting, wall-paper choosing .... well, you get the picture :)

Thanks to the usual suspects for the thread... Not much chance of keeping up and following lists this week, but hopefully will be moving all our furnature into a freshly scrubbed and painted house this weekend so will be able to get bak on the wagon then

    Welcome to the newbies

Managed to eat tea from the fridge/freezer...doesn't sound much but huge for me, I tend to buy random stuff daily...that usually goes off very quickly.:(

    Bin's are out.

Myself, hubby and DD2 played the 'fill a carrier bag each' full of rubbish each game tonight...went really well. May do this daily.

I won the cake comp as I'd eat mine and there's loads of it.:D

Thanks for posting Lady L...appreciate the udate, we was worried we was.:A

  • Interesting day today...

Phoned Child Benefit and Tax Credits people to say that, although legally I could force DD1 to come home (due to having a Residence Order in place), I have decided not to do so and therefore, as of today, I accept that she is no longer living with me. They were very nice and thanked me for being so helpful, confirming that, due to the residence order, anyone making a claim for her care would not be entitled to a back payment. (so yah boo sucks to KH1)

Had a reasonable driving lesson - the 3 point turns went surprisingly well. Got told to stop being too nice and go back to being the stroppy racing driver he is used to telling off for going too fast, as I was letting too many people go first. :D

An ex who I am still friends with has phoned three times in the last 24 hours.

Despite his insanely convoluted love life, he just explodes into my life every so often with a riot of loud music and giggles and then disappears again into the sunset proclaiming both undying love for me and his eternal sorrow that I unceremoniously dumped him 12 years ago when he proposed.

He is threatening to take me out in his Audi A6 'and have a blast' on some private land after generally pootling around on the roads of Sussex. He has also discovered the joys of private air travel, so he is claiming that driving isn't the only entertainment available for the summer, particularly as DD2 is off on her school residential soon, and he 'simply cannot bear the thought' that I will be 'rattling around the place alone for three whole weeks this summer'. Can you tell that one or two of his 'friends' have found themselves men able to make a proper commitment and given him his marching orders?

I thought my driving instructor would be horrified (bearing in mind he grumbles about my last minute block changes and heavy right foot at the best of times), but all he said was 'make sure you're covered on the insurance and have fun!'.

So now wondering whether I should accept the invitation or not...the ex is a very competent professional driver..among other things he is very competent at
