valli - I know...both hubbys noticed of course! Think we'll do an early dinner at theirs then come to ours for the match as apparently ours 'offers a better all round viewing experience' according to the other bloke...that'll be our lovely tv then!

OH's uncle wasn't supposed to last Thursday night...but hung on until one of his daughters got back from Australia...

Tough on F-I-L- he lost a sister a couple of weeks ago.

Strange family - I've been with OH for 25+ years, married for nearly 23 - and I've only met one of the relations on that side....none came to the wedding....most didn't even reply to my parents....

OH's dad into hosp tomorrow - same one his brother died in - for biopsy on Wed......multiple crossing of digits needed.

Oh and DD2 has failed Maths apparently:o:o:o....

I'm afraid I haven't done a very good job of joining in since I 'de-lurked'. Last week was spent getting DS13 ready for his school trip. Totally stressed out. I had planned on an 'after payday' shopping trip and then I hurt my back. This meant that OH had to take over. He did well - but missed out some stuff. Then DS went to stay with XMIL as XH was away for a couple of weeks - this held things up too. So, it was an emergency shopping trip at the weekend.

The whole place is just a nightmare - the last week there has been holiday stuff all over and everything else has just gone crazy. We had a 7am start today and I've spent the rest of the day doing not very much apart from a nap in the middle of the day! So, tomorrow I need to start over and get cracking. I'm sticking to level one and looking back at previous lists from other weeks and hope I can make some kind of progress!!

Woo! Working really hard on trying to keep/get the house clean! So today I have (almost) completed level one (still needs mopping, but will get tea out of the way first), done a load of washing, S&S bathroom, and DF has hoovered the bedroom, study, bathroom and landing!

Bodes well for the rest of the week! xx
