    Isn't that shoelaces?

It took about 3 days to teach DS2 who has immense trouble with most things and at 14 has still not mastered shoelaces!

I am ashamed to admit that I still buy my two velcro shoes rather than have the shoe lace palaver every morning!

No... i was definitely taught it for ties too. Never got the hang of a bow tie either... I have two, and at certain events I always claim to have them on me but that i'm not going to let anyone check ;)

Am just taking a break to answer e-mails and have a cuppa. The kitchen looks much better - only the floor to mop and the sink to shine afterwards, and I'm done.

Will go back to it at 16:30pm...anyone joining in?

    Done! (At last) :o

Why do I never learn that it's better to keep the place little by little clean every week.......?

Monday ~ Kitchen and dining room!
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Sweep and mop the floor[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clean the oven and hob
    Wipe the units and appliances
Clear and wipe table, replace cloth if necessary[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    HHI
    Did a HH Paperwork instead
[STRIKE]Wipe out the fridge.. [/STRIKE]meal plan for June! Meal plan for this week...!
    [STRIKE]Scrub the sink and tiles[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]dust and deweb.. make sure you do any blinds/lightshades too![/STRIKE]
    2. [STRIKE]Empty and wash out all the smelly bins[/STRIKE]
    3. Sort through a cupboard.. Only put back what you will use..freecycle or fling anything else!
    4. [STRIKE]bake a cake/buns or prepare a new meal for our family![/STRIKE] Home alone with DH tonight. Noisettes of pork stuffed with apple and shallots; baby pots and first pick of the home-grown broad beans; followed by a cheesecake because I found some almost-dead passionfruit in the fridge... :heart2::heart2::heart2:

    Back tomorrow...

I’m in again please and thanks to everyone who organises this thread. Also thanks for cheering me up whenever I read this thread (especially Pen pen first with the elephant and now with her OH lining up spirits to introduce to friends and neighbours lol).

Welcome to all newbies:wave: you have found a thread full of wonderful, helpful and motivating people

Toots – I know you have gone but have a wonderful time at the retreat

Valli – glad the date with Mystery man went well. I am very sad :sad:and envious of your smilies as I can’t seem to insert them no matter how hard I try.

Cycling Yorkie – positive thoughts for you and yours, so sorry to hear about your OH’s uncle

Kassey – am very impressed I haven’t even started yet lol

    Franby = Happy Birthday:bdaycake:

Lady Liberty – am new here but from the little I have read on here I know you and Diva are much loved and thought after so sending positive vibes to you (if that is okay – once got hand slapped for sending them to someone I didn’t ‘know’ as I was a newbie poster on a forum)

I am now off to try and start my list having read 2 pages of posts on the old thread and 8 pages on here
    Kate :hello:
