  • Quick question. How do I clean behind the radiators? Been here 3 years and never done it:o They are 60s double things with a grill on the top.
I'm scared about what I might find down there:eek:

  • He he he...

He is gorgeous. Stocky, muscular, thick dark hair, natural suntan, big sapphire blue eyes, dimples, the kind of lopsided grin that just melts you inside.

But I didn't want to be someone's wife. I was 20 when we started seeing each other and I had only ever had one boyfriend before him - KH1. When he did the big down on one knee thing six years later, in front of all our friends, I was the commitment-phobic, legging it in the opposite direction as fast as my little legs could carry me.

Mind you, he has, to put it mildly, broadcast his wild oats in such a way since then that it will require a combine harvester to deal with them all.

He claims it's all my fault, as if it weren't for my callous and cruel rejection, he would be sitting in front of the telly with his pipe and slippers, waiting for me to tell him to get his feet off the sofa. I tell him if it wasn't for my abandoning him, he'd have needed to be put to sleep, as he would have gone loopy being kept in captivity.

I might go along with this insane driving lesson scheme. How badly wrong could this go? (rhetorical question, people!)

I'll tell him I'll even put out a spare litter tray in view of his alleged semi-domesticated status!

    :D

I can understand the commitment thing Jojo, i think i'd run too if OH proposed or even suggested living together. Even though we've been together 6 years. I'd take him up on his offer of a drive if i were you.;)

What a flipping day, my sister called up today so i helped her do out her CV (she's been out of work from Feb) she can't claim any benefits and is 3 months behind in their rent.
She spoke to landlord again about signing the housing benefit form, they said they would but that she wouldn't get it.
By the time she gets home the landlord called, he wants them out by the end of June.:eek::eek:
We know he hasn't been paying the rates on the house and it states on the housing benefit form about them so we think thats why he's putting them out instead of filling in the form.
My sister is now in bites as they have no money for a depoisit for a new house and will be homeless by the end of the month. She is appling for jobs all over the place but nothing yet.:(
I can't even put them up for awhile because i don't have the room and they have a dog that just wouldn't be safe around the children.

It has been a nightmare of a day.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j

froddy - it's in Poole, but think it's sorted. Cousin's wife has said they can pick it up and bring it up north when we're all there for a family party. Should've asked her in the first place!! Other cousin (who lives 5 mins away but we never see) has been down to visit in the meantime but hadn't bothered to get back to my email asking him to help.

And sat night, yeah I know...we arranged ages ago. Plans are afoot to combine food and footie now though

we had a walk up to in laws to drop off FiL's card. Am heading to bed soon, busier day tomorrow...friend bringing cot over at lunchtime then lunch, eyebrow appointment and then Mr S coming 4-5
Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j
