Sick of sellers excuses for delayed posting of ebay items.

I don't usually get excuses, I get "it was posted last tuesday", then the item arrives a few days later postmarked the day I messaged them.:www: :: MFi3 ::

Sellers who are slow to send will be weeded out as long as buyers leave appropriate stars each time their service is poor. Natural selection in action - Darwin must be smiling down from heaven!0

Hi, I've just opened a case for an unreceived item. I waited over a week before I contacted the seller, then waited three days for a reply and heard nothing. On checking sellers feedback she has been receiving FB for other items she sold after mine, but today has a neg FB for another item not received. I'm hoping Ebay sort it out and I get a refund.0

Despite this, my business continued initially (whilst ill) thanks to staff, friends and family but during the first part of the floods, for about 3 days we had no electricity, internet, nothing, this was aside of the warehouse flooding (3ft)!
However, I can put my hand on my heart and say that no customer went without contact from us, we had to use a cafe for the internet connection (Ebay tried to ban me for being on a different ISP!). However, we managed it.
It really p1$$es me when sellers are just plain lazy/liars and con artists. I hope none of these applies to your purchase and that your seller was really ill.
Karma. What goes around, comes around quicker!

I've just had an 'item despatched' email warning me to expect a delay because of the 'current adverse weather conditions'. It's a small packet being sent to to Lincs from....Essex.0

I'm on the Essex borders, it is quite odd for June here, it is actually warm and mild. :rotfl:

It was the same as the postal strikes. Huge amounts of the country were unaffected and yet some people used it as an excuse not to post for weeks. It reflects badly on those people who genuinely couldn't get their stuff posted at all.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have to admit to being a little nervous of buying on auction as I seem to have a detrimental effect on sellers. Its surprising how many sellers have had children rushed into hospital as soon as I win their item. I always try and give people the benefit of the doubt , but its very annoying seeing the seller continuing to list new items. They must have internet cafes in these emergency wards. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Birmingham Childrens Hospital caring for my tiny and very poorly grandson who was born at 29 weeks. Thanks to them he is getting a little stronger every day.:A:A:A0
