Hiya,
Up at six and rarely home b4 eight...:(
Shame, as I don't really have the time I used to, to look around here and post. By the time I've got in, showered and noshed, it's time to hit the sack.
Never mind, it's good to have a job in the current economic climate....
I know the feeling thechippy! Except I'm even less entitled to moan than you are as I don't do 6am (unless I've not yet been to sleep!) and the I'm home a bit earlier than 8. It's a b*gger when actual life gets in the way though! (Usually for me it means I forget I'm supposed to be debt-busting)
And I've been awol for so long 3Dogs has opened a new friend and I was wanddering about like a lost soul, wondering where you all were!
But I'm fab at hide and seek so I found you again.

Not so much Santander, Numpty as Santan-duh! Obviously their call centre bods need a bit of intensive training on how to deal with people over the telephone. You had explained that they had made some error, they should have immediately apologised for the inconvenience to you, asked you to return the letter to them at their expense, cancelled the card and amended their records! If you hadn't been the honest upright monkey-fella that you are, then you could have had a whale of a time with someone else's bank account. What complete and utter plonkers, from the PMA school of business (PMA as in Protect my....).
Sorry, but having done the customer service bit in previous lives, and dealing with the general public, warts and all, in my present job, I have had lessons and lectures on how to deal with people rammed down my throat for years, and plonkers like that really get right up my nose!
Rant over, now to zoom around the threads. One life - your life - live it!0 -
