Can I just ask any techie people out there how much I should expect to pay for data recovery from a USB stick? The USB bit seems to have got bent and isn't being picked up by my computer.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Hi Helen
You haven't offended anyone at all, please don't worry. As you can probably see this thread is very fast-moving (to keep it at the top of the page) and there is a distinct possibility that any of your questions or any advice you've been given could get lost in the general chat.
Hope you get lots of good advice on your new thread and good luck with sorting out your problems with those lovely banks:mad::mad:
Take care

Hi Everyone :hello:
Long time no see! Feels like ages since I've been here but only a couple of days and sooo many posts to read, you sure have all been busy.
Forgive me if I don't reply to all the comments etc raised but I would just like to say to 3Dogs & Mr 3Dogs and also to Handy that I hope everything picks up for you all soon, it just seems to be one thing after the other sometimes doesn't it. I'm hoping that maybe next week I will have some me time and will be able to just hang around on here all day catching trolls/spammers and eating geebee's treats, I'm so glad they are all calorie free:)
My journey yesterday was a bit of a nightmare. To avoid most of the silverstone traffic and speed restrictions on the M1 I decided to go M40 instead. Got just outside Birmingham and got a flat tyre:(, phoned RAC and had to wait 1 1/2 hours for them to send a contractor who promptly advised me my spare was flat and he didn't have a pump:eek: I've never heard anything like it, sending someone out to change a wheel and not carry a pump. Luckily I had one so I set off on my merry way, the delay meant I didn't get back home 'til 1am and to crown it all we had yet another power cut and I had to walk up 8 floors:mad::mad: I was cream crackered to say the least and EDF got a mouthful off of me today, not that it gets you anywhere, but it's getting beyond a joke we've had at least 1 a month for about the last 8-12 months:mad:
Ok rant over, sorry.
The weather has been really hot here, we haven't had any rain yet. The grass is very brown and in need of some rain but I think we will get some this week.
Hope you have all had a good day.I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

Doesn't matter If... I'm a technical goddess, I've just taken it apart and got it fixed enough to get the data off it myself. Go me!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
