your a true gent and they aren't many like you around.

Hi folks, Handy is certainly not a gentleman. There have been a lot of things that have happened in my life, some things that people probably wouldn’t believe.

I said some time ago that one day I would explain why I left the City for the countryside. When I first met Mrs H she was as anxious as myself to get away.

A cautionary tale, living the dream isn’t sometimes what its cracked up to be.

Things like, being in 3 separate industrial explosions, living next door to an arsonist druggy with a grudge, who couldn’t be touched by the local plod because he was also a grass and supplier to some of the young PC’s.
I once was pulled over by the police, just days after taking a police inspector to the small claims court (and winning), then having my car dismantled by a police mechanic at the roadside.

Things like, having your house windows smashed by the local hardman’s family after chining him cause he was beating up on a pensioner.
Stopping a Looney from swinging a pram with baby inside over his head cause he was arguing with his girlfriend, getting bitten by him after he’d kicked Mrs H in the stomach, and then finding out he’d got Hepatitis B. Then after he ran away he put an old fellow who stopped to help in hospital. He promised to come look for handy after he got out (3 years).

I used to work 7 days a week for months on end, and drive 70k + miles a year.
The firm I worked for had staff fraud problems, so the MD had me spy on staff, Bug phones and offices. I later caught the Boss paying bungs to clients for business with money he himself had skimmed.

Then the time I had to visit my stepsons dealer to pay him off, and give him the Scarborough warning, only to have to do it all over a couple of months later. This time it was a con dreamed up by Son No 2 to get money to buy more gear.

In my last year before moving to the country, I was assaulted 3 times.
When we moved to the Highlands things weren’t much better, the local trades were run by the Lodge, If you didn’t join you didn’t work. The Old Lady we worked for was being robbed blind by Trustee’s and Employee’s alike. Handy sorted it out, but the old girl couldn’t or wouldn’t protect us. We had to leave fast.

I could go on, If my life hasn’t made me a bit unhinged well I must have done something wrong. The thing is I know what makes me tick, so if things start getting bad I can adjust.

I have had periods of depression, that’s why I used to go climbing or pot holing, 50 feet up hanging on by your finger nails or up to your neck in water with just a few inches of air space tends to make one focus.

My main fault is that I moan a lot! :(:(:(

And you good people here make good listeners.:A
I know people will read this and think he’s making this up.

I have tales to tell that couldn’t possibly be made up. Mad things happen to me, just ask Numpty about the Magician in the pub the other weekend.

My current problems with the Hooray’s are only temporary in life’s rich tapestry.

MIL is a worry, It will hit Mrs Handy hard when something happens.

There’s more to tell but that’s another story.

Cheers and my best wishes to everyone, handy.

Is that Lord Hooray's scooter I see outside the barn Handy?

Yes, that was the mark 1 version. By the time it was replaced it was only worth £150. The Mark 2 is still under repair. I know it won't be coming back as the poor old chap wouldn't be able to work it, let alone use it safely.

The old horn I got him for a birthday prezzy. Eventually even I couldn't fix it, it got bent that many times!:rotfl::rotfl:

Handy you are, what my late Dad would call, 'genuine', and I can't give you a bigger compliment than that. You're an honest guy who cares, sometimes too much, but someone you can depend on when needed

You are what life has made you and we love you 'cause you're you

And with that, I am definitely going to bed - Nite Nite

but not before I report the spammer

Naw he's still here, zapped him 3 times. a bit like a fly kill one and hundreds turn up for the funeral. Now where's Handys Spam Spray.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

I bought a tin of Brut last week (remember that one). do you think if I sprayed him with that?

Yup, It put enough women off in it's time.

Said on the tin it attracts women like flies, but I wanted women like women:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Night all.

I've reported or spam alerted all his posts, I think, he was really firing them off.

Handy, I'm so sorry for everything you've been through. I guess idiots are idiots however much money they've got and however big their houses.

I really hope the MIL improves soon, can she be 'tricked' into eating, using the shakes and things?

3Dogs, well done on the weight loss! What's the holiday?

Right, I'm off to beddy byes now.
