morning everyone, love the photo 3dogs - super cute, might come down to 3DogsLand and doggienap!!!

thanks for all the good wishes, not sure whats up with me, think its most likely a combo of the job im in, where im living and the debt which seems to loom over my head. going to sit down later (prob after work) and try and work on a few things and make a plan to see if that helps how i feel.

I hope you manage to feel a bit better soon Allie, its not nice feelin down. Maybe if you can make a list of the things that are anoying/upsetting you, you can try and find a way round them or at least think of them in a different way?. :)

    Wow you've all been busy!

Tixy, I found out a couple of months ago that laptops don't like to drink coffee. I guess that means more for me!

Helen, you'd think that having caused a global recession the banks would realise their logic is flawed somewhere, but no, they keep on making it harder for people who are already struggling to pay.

Well, I've had a good day today. Went to my writing group this afternoon, then for a carvery - £3.59, can't go wrong. I had breakfast this morning too for the first time in ages. I think my current eating plan is muesli for breakfast, and then a big dinner mid afternoon, then fruit to snack on if I need it. I'm not really one for meetings, I think they'd just stress me out and make me more likely to fail. I'm going to start what I did with the health trainer last summer again, which is keeping a food diary and setting myself goals each week, like drink more water, eat more f&v, gradually changing one thing at a time will probably work better.

I did realise this afternoon though that my weekend down south including the Bristol meet I'm organising is this coming weekend, I thought it was the one after, eek!

Still feeling a bit pants but trying not to dwell on it and I'm going to do as you suggested and write a list of things I'm not happy about and then solutions to the problems - I'm a list lover so I think that's the way to go!! I'm also wanting to write down my long and short term goals so I have something to look at to inspire me for the days when it all hits the fan!!! ;)

That's the sort of thing im going to try and do - change one thing at a time and not everything at once! This week my plan is to eat less chocolate and eat more fruit, then next week it might be to drink more water and eat more fruit, that sort of thing. I just have to be realistic and set goals which I'll make to start with otherwise I'll just discourage myself! I also need to find the balance of what I want to eat and what I should eat! lots to learn! :)

Erme, 'baby steps' seems to be my motto in life! The only way I can motivate myself to do anything is by stripping it down into tiny chunks.

I don't drink orange squash, it makes me wee too much! Or black coffee, it has to have a bit of milk in it.

Thanks for the tip about A&E. I once ended up there on a friday night, they discharged me without telling me and I came back from the loo to find the bed made and my stuff on a chair, I had to wait at the nurses station to ask someone to take the cannula out of my arm.

It's fine Helen, it's not so much that it's not about debt help, it's that you'll get more help if you start your own thread, this is more chatty and moves so fast you'll get left behind quickly. You haven't offended anyone.
