This is quite possibly the most worrying thing I have ever read in my life, especially as I am now 3 months pregnant with my first so now am just imagining what's waiting for me in 6 months time. Why did no one start this post 4 months ago, then I could have applied for adoption instead!!!!!
There's no way i'm letting my pregnant squeamish DD read this thread:eek:

  • Well, I read this thread before and after...and now I'm doing it all again!:rotfl:

Just hum the tune 'one day in your life' (or possibly 2 or 3 :D) and you'll be just fine! :rotfl:

i just can't be coping with the thought of any form of 'tearing'. frightens the life out of me more than anything else.

**wondering if there is anything you can do to make the skin in those sensitive less prone to tearing.....leave me to my wondering thoughts if the answer is no **

I tore when i had DD and she was only 6lb 11, midwife told me some people are more susceptible. DS1 was 8lb 12 1/2 hence the 3rd degree tear
BUT I would rahter tear than be sliced.
