I was on crutches when 6 months pregnant and my other DS was 4 - I used to fix his bungy wrist strap to a retractable dog lead - RAFLMAO - I just couldn't keep up with him so used to reel him back in!!!!
It isn't that bad really but I have to avoid anything that involves scissors movements with my legs - like the things that work out your inner thighs at the gym - nonononononono!!!!
Go for it - can be fun watching child being reeled back in:rotfl: :rotfl:Noli nothis permittere te terere

That is fantastic! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I think I might just use that idea for the 11 month old tazmanian devil I have at the moment! From the minute he wakes up he runs around ,and I'm having trouble keeping up. That sounds like a perfect solution!0 -

I remember the milkman came late one morning and I was gasping for a cuppa so poured in a swig from some I'd expressed earlier - LOL

I'm the worlds biggest fan of breastfeeding, I really am and yes I tasted it and yes I did it [STRIKE]surrupti[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]surriptish[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]suripptish[/STRIKE] sneakily but YOU are my new hero:j :rotfl:

Another guilty secret here as well.
Has anyone ever caught theri OH(past or present) trying to shut up baby(or just experimenting) by trying to get them to suckle on their own nips!!!!  - RAFLAMO!!!!!!! Now that weirded me out but a few friends at LaLeche told me their OH's had done it as well, so then there was mass wetting of knickers - remember those dodgy pelvic floors:D as we all rolled around in tears!!!!Noli nothis permittere te terere

another best kept secret has to be the disposal of still born babies in the 60's and 70's
my elder sister had a stillborn in the mid 60's and 5 yrs ago she campaigned to find out what had happened to him
she found that he had been put in a mass grave with lot's of other dead babies
she has now had a small headstone placed in the town cemetery for him
these days you get to hold and see your dead baby and then arrange a funeral, it's not a big secret anymore
at least my nephew was buried, others were just incinerated along with other hospital refuse0 -
That is so sad.0 -

Aye! That's the one
That's another thing no one tells you. Pregnancy turns your brain into mush. You're pregnantly driving down the road one day and suddenly you realise that the last thing you remember was stepping out of your front door. You wonder how on earth you made it on your journey with your brain in 'coma' mode. The next part of the secret is that it never comes back after the baby is born. Thinking is a thing of the past
(is 'pregnantly' a real adverb or is that the wine talking?)Just run, run and keep on running!0 -
Aaargh - Nappy brain!!!!
Sometimes I even forget the right words for things - or could that be early onset Alzheimers???
Come out of house, lock door, walk down road all the time thinking that I've forgotten something......30 secs later racing back into house to pick up baby!!!Noli nothis permittere te terere

Oh Jay-Jay I thought that the best kept secret was that while in labour and somewhat distracted, someone is pulling brain matter out and replacing it with cotton wool! That's why DH always tell people that the children have got my brains.. coz he's still got his own!!! :rolleyes:0
