I think this is the best kept secret - no one wants to talk about this!
And the effect of two fast births sixteen months apart on the er ... look and shape of the external area... not that I thought I'd ever care, because I can't see it, but I'm still self-conscious about it.
Although that could be the result of having a bright light shone on my bits while being stitched up and one midwife saying to the other, "You've missed a bit", and then looking at me and saying , "You'll thank us for this when you're 50" !!!!0 -
The worst thing is having 4 beautiful kids.Having your husband bum off when youngest is 9 weeks old.Struggling as a single parent whilst he lives life of riley and pays no maintenance as hes on fiddle then see him knock up a munter of a 19 year old.Have his sister at doctors say "oh look theres your OTHER kids" to him and his girlfriend and her remark incrediculousy "you have kids?"
This hurt more than having my youngest who was 11lbs 1.This happened on friday........well a few months back i guess but I only bumped into them then and soon fled.
Men who do this deserve to be neutered.0 -
Pregnancys best kept secret.......
I too had the orgasms in the night as someone mentioned - but only with my 3rd. On the same subject, pregnancy made me really horny. it didnt really dissapear after my 2nd as i was pregnant again when he was 6 weeks old!!!
Having 3 darlings within 4 years my boobs have drooped, my tummy is saggy and covered with a map!
Pregnancy makes your hair fall out - all over the place!
Pregnancy is addictive - i cant wait to do it again, but next time at home. Some midwives are evil.
A big pregnancy secret - they can be short. I always expected long drawn out affairs. First was 15hrs - so confirmed it for me. Yet the 2nd was 3 hrs and the 3rd came out without me being in labour(still had my trousers on!)
Another secret is that your waters dont have to burst first - in all 3 cases for me. My most recent was born still in the sack - a amazing sight!!0 -

Weellllll............. oh what the hell  Here goes
My husband's pet name for me is Patchy - which (unbeknownst to ANYONE until now) is short for Patchwork CrotchWhat with episiotomy scars from DD1 and tear scars from shooting my 9lb 15oz DS1 though my lady bits at super-dooper warp speed (due to industrial amounts of artificial contracting hormone) I apparently have many "intriguing internal ridges and dimples" *looks over glasses and nods sagely in a knowing fashion*.
According to my lovely husband all these novelty bumps and lumps all - how shall I put this - add to the experience and provide extra stimulation. So now you know! Don't worry ladies, change in the configuration of your undercarriage needn't be a bad thing.
Well you did ask..............................:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.
Oi you lot - pleaseGIVE BLOOD
- you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.

As somebody said previously. this thread should be printed off and given to teenage girls and that politian(has she got children) who said people aren't having enough babies.......Oh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY0

this is what i have wanted to ask my friends for so long, but they only allude to the birth and won't be drawn on specifics! Do they make you sign a confidentiality agreement at the hospital to ensure that the human race continues to reproduce???
Still it's not as bad as my Grandma's day, she thought that babies were born when your stomach splits down the brown line, she thought this when she was pregnant too, guess that explains why i don't have any aunties or uncles on that side!Debt Oct 2005: £32,692.94
Current debt: £14,000.00
Debt free date: June 20080 -
One thing the books I read never mentioned was that all dignity will be lost by the time you have actually delivered your baby. My first experience of labour was made worse by one of my best friends at high school coming into the room and announcing "Hi, Annie, I will be your midwife for the delivery. Now, can I just sweep your cervix?"
33 hours later, I had my DS, a very bad repair job on the episiotomy and legs that looked like they belonged to someone else. For some reason the water retention came AFTER I gave birth."Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

We really don't mean to frighten you Joanne. The important thing to remember is that every woman can tell a different story of her delivery/ies. We all have different experiences and the best thing is that we have a wonderful new life to show for that experience. :happyhear
I hope everything goes well for you."Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."
