DS is 15 days old. He is managing 3 hours between 4oz bottles during the day, and just over 2 hours at night.

It's amazing how you cope with the sleep deprivation - the knowledge that it won't last forever helps. Of course, people see him during the day and he is fast asleep!!!!

He is a good baby though, and it takes time to establish a routine - or is that him training us?

    any advice guys?

i has HORRENDOUS morning sickness (day/night 24/7) and lost 2 stone when i had my ds nearly 4 years ago. and i would love another bubba but i dont know if i can face the sickness (which lasted till i was 8 months!) again.

i would like to think theres a chance!!

Not me but I have to say SiL was virtually housebound the first time but had a 1 day what she thought was D&V 2nd time round.
I remember being at hers on christmas day (neice born end of august) & she was saying about her fat belly. I told DH she was pregnant & he wouldn't have it. I was right!
Best of all she was ok with her sickness.

has anyone had any teeth issues whilst pregnant, we are going to start TTC soon and its one of the things that bothers me as I have never had so much as a filling as I am very paranoid about losing my teeth! (although reading these posts I think I may have a lot more to think about!)
I have family members who have had abcesses etc after having their baby and had teeth pulled etc.....is it the norm?

Sorry but I have to say that I had never had a filling before the children & ended up with 5 when DS was 11 months (my second).
I do think my dentist was over zealous though and don't advise white fillings because DS is now nearly 5 and my teeth still hurt like hell come winter.

I've finally reached the end! Woo hoo, it's only taken me about a month - a page a night! This is a great post :rotfl:

Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences :T We are going to start trying in the new year and I feel happier that I (think) know the worst that can happen. If I'm prepared for the worst it can't be that bad, right?

Whatevery you go through when you come out the other end and hold that lovely little bundle its all forgotten. Its only later when they start getting about that you wonder why...speaking of which...mine has disappeared.

    Has this been mentioned?
    Baby's first poohs don't smell.

One of nature's greatest con tricks, as you think on changing the first nappies. "oh, this isn't so bad". I think nature waits for us to fully fall in love with baby before we get the first stinker.
By then there's no going back.
