Do we need to report this to google or will that be taken care of, all there are still names coming up under the google search?
I had an email back from the PR this morning
We’re so sorry about this. It was an accident that happened during improvements being made to the site. We’ve made the site secure and have contacted google to do something about the cache as well. Once again, our sincere apologies.0 -

Until 11/04 the comps were email entry and there seems to be no problem. From then on google caches show your data was available as soon as you registered to enter a comp. The comps were:
ONE – 80 thanks – Malcolm Gluck Book
TWO – 279 thanks – cases of wine from Radcliffe’s (x30)
THREE – 99 thanks – Taste of London tix + case of Freixenet wine
FOUR – 201 thanks – Wines as drunk at the BAFTAs
FIVE – 174 thanks – Giant Selection of Teas
Comps 4 & 5 are still open but warnings are posted for them.

Does anyone know if the site are doing anything about this? I've had the generic email about getting the cache deleted on google but mine is still there! Lovethatwine do not seem that concerned in my opinion!Thank you to all posters - very appreciated!0

I got a reply from a 'Case Officer' at the Information Commissioner’s Office

They will need to see screenprints if anyone saved them, as the offending pages now not showing..Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0 -

I have a sample page of several people's profiles, plus my own personal page still being cached. If you PM me I am happy for someone to send to ICO.0

My page is still cached. No address or phone number thankfully, just postcode, name and DOB ( which is enough tbh) Again will happily supply details to anyone who is pursuing this via PM0
