There are other pages on the site that may be showing your details and I think it depends when you signed up.

How to find if your details are displayed

If your name is "Smith" then Google:

    Smith site:lovethatwinenews.co.uk

I found my details on two pages

PS. I'm putting this on the main board to warn others.

Mine shows on 3! Even though I've changed everything now it still shows as cached or something. Don't understand lol

I'm not a member of that site but used the link on posts above and could not believe what I was seeing. Is there any way this flaw can be highlighted to a wider audience?

taken from their own site rulesWhen do we share information?
LoveThatWine will not disclose your personal information that you provide to us, including your email address, to any third party, other than in the exceptional cases laid out below. LoveThatWine may aggregate information from member profiles (known as demographic data) for the purposes of market research and share that information with third parties but no individual personal data will be disclosed in this process.

Surely this should go to some board and they should be held accountable, even after changing your details your info is still able to be found by googling it, now I'm even more angry.

I'm sorry, I done this fairly quickly as I only noticed the problems with this website recently tonight. I managed to cancel my profile. There is an option to edit or cancel. Now it's asking for me to create my profile (Which I won't be doing) go to

Thank you all for drawing my attention to this disgraceful situation.

I have just emailed them but it bounced straight back - I would think their inbox is probably brimming over at the moment. Will def try again tomorrow.

I can't see how you can cancel your account - only change the info, has anyone else been able to cancel their account completely?

I couldn't cancel mine either, could just edit the details and I put in gobbledegook, so at least on site it's just rubbish people see now, unless of course someone searches my surname on google, then all details are still there in cached form.
