I can't see how you can cancel your account - only change the info, has anyone else been able to cancel their account completely?

I can assure you I managed to cancel my profile by going to my lovethatwine.co.uk. I have checked on google again and I am no longer there :D

This is horrendous , thank you for posting. I have emailed them for an explanation. Makes you wonder if there are any other sites out there doing the same. Lets hope not.
Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Birmingham Childrens Hospital caring for my tiny and very poorly grandson who was born at 29 weeks. Thanks to them he is getting a little stronger every day.:A:A:A

I will see if they offer me a free crate of Wine first :D

If they don't.. I shall pour a glass of my own (cheaper variety) and fill the ICO form out :rotfl:

I don't know your details but I can certainly access others where the website now shows rubbish
    eg
    First Name:XXXXXXX
    Surname:XXXXXXXX

Date of birth (this is still on the site)

    Gender:Female

    Postcode:XXXXXXXX

    County:
    Herts

but the full details can be found on the google cache of 5 May 2010.

Once google has cached it I think it may be on the web for a very long time. There were complaints re google caches a few years back but they are still able to store masses of info.I think if you are on the list it will stay on google.
