Welcome back, Jean; you've been missed! Hope you had a great time, and that you will soon be back into the French swing of things!
Glad you had a good time with Chalky, Pippa!
Ginnyknit - good news that it's not the cancer that's causing the pain. I hope it can be sorted soon. As for postage, I have a lot of UK stamps that I earned when I did research for the Post Office, so I will be using those to post parcels of woolly stuff when I am next in the UK, hopefully towards the end of the month or early July. Postage is even more expensive in France than the UK!
Mum is doing very well and enjoying the good weather and BIL, who feels the cold so badly these days, is doing reasonably well now that the temperature has gone up. The warm weather is really helping him, so I just want it to last forever.
It's been lovely here for the last few days and I actually feel as if the bug I had has finally gone. I will get some more squares done now; I didn't want to do anything woolly while I was unwell in case it was contagious.
Hope you are all having a good day.
