My sister texted me yesterday to say that DBIL was having a 'rare OK day'. I can't tell you how that lifted my heart! I know the real sadness of their situation, but for me it turned an average day into a wonderful one.

Im so truly sorry to have abandoned you all for so long and have missed you all so very much.
its been a mad couple of weeks preparing me to go in etc. but am done and home now and on the mend. DOH has been such a trooper and an absolute legend I could not wish for a more wonderful husband. I love him to death - my Nurse Consultant (Therapy) wants me to blog about the whole thing (weird!!!) as in my being able to go and do it with the help of the therapy etc

DOH has allowed me DS lappie (wont allow me to sit on the main computer!!!!) infact its a wonder he has allowed me to breath

Laying in hospital I wondered what you were all up to and how everyone has been and especially thinking of those loved ones that are poorly. Emotionally I could cry at The Two Ronnies at the moment but physically I think Im not doing bad at all. The Nurse today reminded me very strongly that I had had a "major" operation grrrrrrrr

Anyway Im back (cant get rid of me that easily) and will try and catch up with everyone
As Ive said Ive missed you all so sending much love and lots of hugs xxxxx

PS so far have looked over at chalkys blog realised that I missed your lovely giveaway but then have had a sob at such a beautiful post about our loved ones - such true words, you are a lovely lady linda xxx

F1 - what truly wonderful news! I can feel the joy and relief bouncing off my computer screen! Well done, and I just know that we are all so proud of you and so pleased that you finally took the plunge and had it done. I think a blog is a brilliant idea because I'm sure it will help so many others. I also think that you should do exactly as you are told and TAKE IT EASY, even though you must feel as if you could climb a mountain right now. Let that lovely DOH of yours spoil you as he so obviously wants to!

I WILL do the update today, I promise. Although I am a lot better I find I'm still having to do things slowly.

Things not too good here, Hubbys doc at the pain clinic has sent a scathing letter to our GP demanding Oh has psychiatric help as he is standing on the edge of a breakdown and MUST be seen urgently. He has also arranged an MRI scan as he thinks the new symptoms are sinister and need investigating. We have his cancer check next week which I brought forward as the symptoms could be linked to it or not. I am glad the lovely doc listened to me and accepted that Hubby was too upset to talk himself. Tough times but we will get through it all. Thank you all for your kind thoughts. Sending hugs to all ginny xxx
