    Evening everyone
Just having a quick look through while I drink my coffee

We had a bit of a shock when we arrived home, the house 2 doors away had a car crash into the front of their house , it landed yes landed (it took off) in the garage sideways and was jammed in upside down, the driver in his 80's had to be cut out but sadly didnt make it, poor old feller, he mistook the accelerator for the brake. It's all so sad

Kathy - Thanks for the welcome back, hope all went well with the estate agent... and you enjoyed the party
ginnyknit - sending you a huge gentle (((hug))) and I hope things get less tough for you both soon x
mrs-m - mack the knife is one of my all time favourites and your DS sang it with a real zing...one very proud Mum there I suspect and with good reason :T
hello and welcome to you DomRavioli you will love it here with our happy little band :)

Well... I actually finished the Springtime throw while we were down in Devon at the caravan, it has taken such a long time to do such an easy pattern...but I am really pleased with it :)

off to put my feet up for a bit now love to all

    Hi everyone

Pippa - what a dreadful accident and such a shame that the man lost his life.

Chalky - hugs to you. Try a teaspoon of honey with a pinch of cinnamon; it's meant to cure almost anything. I hope you feel better this morning.

Ginnyknit - hugs to you and OH, too.

Well, we had the agent round from the international house swap agency, so our house will be listed on there soon. It may be a long shot, but at least it's something else to try.

BIL is not doing too well these days. My sister thinks it's the beginning of the end, which we are all dreading. He's on morphine patches now because he is in constant pain, but she says that they don't seem to be helping much, so he is going to ask the doctors if there is anything else he can try. He is still feeling as positive as he can, bless him, but he feels the cold these days and the fact that the weather has not warmed up properly is getting him down. I really hope summer arrives soon. It's not that good here; we get down to almost a frost overnight, then the sun comes out for a couple of hours, then it clouds over again until late evening, then the sun comes out again. I wish it would make its mind up.

My mum is doing really well and has definitely settled into the care home now, thank goodness. It's one less thing for us to worry about, especially for my sister who has such a lot on her plate.

Anyway, I have a press release to write for someone about websites for mobile phone apps, so I will need to research before I can write about it!

I hope you all have a good day.

gentle hugs for your dbil and all your family kathy, i hope things are as painfree and easy as possible for you all. its difficult to put into words what i want to say, ive been in this position with my father in law, and after we realised that it was inevitable the best i could wish for him was that when the time came things were peaceful for him.
my thoughts are with you all. it is not easy even when you are expecting it.
i hope this doesnt upset you as its not meant to HUGS

Mioliere, sending hugs, I hope your BIL gets the pain relief he needs, I too know a bit about this time. MrsMP we know what you are trying to say, its difficult isnt it but these things need to be talked about so we can show we understand.

Its too cold here, my tootsies are chilly all the time. OH now has the bloomin flu but just rang GP for a script, had to wait to check it wasnt just man flu :D. Keeping busy but longing for some sun, as are my veggies in the greenhouse, poor things are shivering.

    Hugs to all xx

Thanks, Mrs Moneypenny. We had a close family member who suffered greatly when the end came, and my sister is desperate to avoid that for her DH. You're so right - it's not easy even when it's expected, as we found out when my dad died many years ago.

Ginnyknit, thanks to you, too. I hope your OH gets his prescription soon, and can start to feel better.
