mioliere that's really lovely, bet you're pleased.
Have fun Chalky!0 -
Thanks for your kind words about my chair!
Chalky - I've just shown DH your post and he's had a good (but sympathetic!) laugh at your poor DOH having to paint the front of the house! You won't believe what I put mine through before your visit, and I was still not happy! I hope you and Pippa are having a fantastic time; can't wait to hear about it!

Afternoon ladies - well last night was ................ er unromantic due to DH going off to buy a cheap car (say no more :rotfl::rotfl:) still the car put a smile on his face the happiest ive seen him in weeks!
sock-knitter - oh good im glad you are using Approved foods - I had seen them via MSE email and was wondering if anyone had used them and now seakay says they are good Im gonna be putting my order in I think - did you go mad with goodies??? - I thought things like cuppa soups were a real bargain (ideal for me at home and DH to take to work) - how are things today? - xxxx
isom - good to hear things are still going well - just dont overdo it xxx
Am hoping chalky's meet is going well
kathy - I do love to hear your daily tales - its like a virtual diary - its super - I love the chair (and the cushion and blanket youve made to match) Ive wanted one of those types for a while - you never see one though when you are thinking about it iykwim! - Ive only ever look second hand places or car boots though -
Ive always wanted an old fashioned bureau as well - with cubby holes - when i was little I was always playing "desks" writing and drawing on pads and keeping stashes of paper and envelopes, pens and stationery - perhaps thats why i ended up in an office - my dear uncle worked in the Post office for 45 years and it always intrigued me all that paperwork etc - maybe I will get my bureau one day - its funny the other day DH amazed me by saying that for years he has wanted to buy me a "proper" dressing table but can never find one he likes - he has never mentioned this in the 16 years we have been together and I was very touched aaaggghhh
Oh lord im babbling (she reaches for the tablets!) - hope you are all having a good day - love to all the MIA's and the poorlies
Mrs M, DON79(any sign of that baby?), May, psso, k2tog - thinking of you and hope you are all ok - we miss you xxxxDebt Diary: Im not going to be an Ostrich anymore -LBM - 16/1/12 /0 -
Evening all!! Absolutely chucking it dow here! Got through day 4 and am now done for the week. Feel tired but not overly and dont feel overdone iykwim. Met a friend for lunch and had a good natter. She was the one who got married recently and had a perfect day. They delayed their honeymoon so they have that to come which is nice as delayed the flat feeling and gives sommat to look forward to! Im happy where I am; desk etc sorted and getting to know people and am booked in for two nights out! choc brownies all but gone lol!
Still trying to finish the blanket...they do seem somewhat endless lol!
Socky great that things are settled.
F1 poor you, no romance after all that anticipation!
Chalky enjoy the visit - painting the house is a bit drastic isnt it! Have to say if anyone comes here you will have to take me as you find me!!!
Sorry to hear that Lois hasnt returned miol...you cant even grieve him which makes it worse somehow doesent it?
Am waiting for my ravelry swap to arrive ...my recipient loved hers which is a relief. Some people go very ott so hard when you cant afford to! Wondered if people on here would like to do one for Christimas? The idea is that you have a max budget (for the ravelry one it was 20 including postage) and have someone you send for and someone you send to...what do people think? Would be nice to do something for us! Am happy to arrange it if people are interested?Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

can I come too??!? D x:hello:0 -
Oh please I am not that much of a dragon, nor that houseproud --- Our poor house has been so neglected whilst we have been gadding about over the last three years that there is a lot of catching up to do this summer-- Helps keep the mind occupied as DD2 gets ready for her travels too. So a pure coincidence that DOH was painting as Pippa was due. I had visions of her being dripped on from above!!
Well 2nd meet and 2nd lovely, lovely time. It is so strange but it really is just like meeting an old friend. And again Anne's DH and My Doh got on really well. Lots of talk about T4 vans ( AKAS Sunshine Buses!) and football of course!
Anne is just like you would imagine- so warm and friendly and we certainly enjoyed a good natter and the Cream Tea. We wont mention the weather!
Well I got a little distracted by the baby announcement from my dear nephew and his new wife- lovely, just lovely news
They were really pleased with these little gifts
Well its a dose of Masterchef and Undercover Boss.
I must also get on with the Manta Ray
Sorry forgot to resize those monsters!Try and do a good deed every day.0 -
