  • phew...took a while but caught up on you all!
Sorry been absent-not even lurking as its been a tough few months if Im honest. My health hasnt been great with wavering energy levels but weight on the way down; unfortunately am now living proof that loosing weight does affects your periods and am back for another D&C/histeroscopy on 22 Feb...then will have to have my gallbladder removed as now have gallstones (common with gastric bypass as your gallbladder thinks youre eating a very high fat diet even though its youre fat your eating!!) which, more than anything Im really hacked off about as asked him to remove my gallbladder with my bypass as 30/40% have this happen and I had wanted to avoid another operation...so in summary 10 months out 61/2 stone lighter but now in need of two further operations...think you get my drift?!!
Edna has moved in and taken up residence but am now going to the gym in an attempt to get rid of her for once and for all. She really is an unwelcome resident....Work has been tough and busy with lots of changes so all in all been a bit much so hibernated for a couple of months; just one foot in front of the other.
Just had a week of though which was much needed and I feel almost human again and REALLY dont want to go back next week as will be back into the thick of it and have enjoyed feeling human, albeit for a short time!
Chalky much love to you and yoursxxx
Pippa sorry oh still battling and that life is hard for you both.
Miol massive hugs re mum and DBIL...its so hard to fight on and have the energy and I have huge respect for hospice care as they have the ethos that makes the best of each day; celebrating life, rather than being a place for people to die....hugs too re mum. Mine has recently managed to kill the microwave, kettle and leave the front door wide open in an area known for social deprivation!! She is lovely though and wouldnt be without her despite the challenges.
F1 how you feeling and how is OH? My hysterical is put off for a while with a last ditch attempt with the D&C...after that who knows!
Right off to watch up on tea rota (a week late already!).
Mrs M Ive not forgotten your blanket - is next on the list at the same time as finishing handstitched quilt. Will try do piccy of my blanket as have now done 3 and love them ...so snuggly and comforting, esp when Edna comes round!
    lots love to all.
