Hi everyone - just popping in for a coffee having helped remove a few dozen roof tiles. We've spent a few days doing it but can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. The chap who bought the last lot two weeks ago, is coming this afternoon; I think there's about five hundred for him to collect! DH tried to rig up a bucket on a rope so that he could lower the tiles down from the roof, but this proved a bit tricky, so I meet him halfway up the ladder to take them from him, five tiles at a time. I think we have about an hour's work left.

Shaz - I'm sorry to hear that things didn't work out.

Pippa - have a great time!

Mrs Moneypenny - that little one really is a fighter, isn't she? I'm sending lots of hugs for her.

ISOM - I hope the proper meals are going well for you.

Jean - I hope you're not doing too much.

Chalky - if you call in here, hope there is light at the end of your tunnel!

DPixie - it's lovely to have you posting again!

Well, I suppose I'd better go and get my work gloves back on. At least the sun is shining.

 Hi everyone, hope you are all well.

Been missing again lately, sorry, but time just seems to run away from me.

What a funny couple of weeks it`s been here weatherwise. First we had beautiful warm sunny days with temperatures we would have in July (if we were lucky !) then suddenly back to winter with snow and sleet and yesterday we had rain.Never sure what to wear when we go out.

Been cracking on with the preemie things lately and a special project for later in the year. All will be revealed soon, I hope.

I can hardly believe how the time has flown. Two years ago today little J was born :T and now he is running about everywhere and getting into all sorts of mischief. He had great fun opening his presents from us this morning and will have more fun with his cousins this afternoon as we`re having a birthday tea party. Lots of CAKE too.

Off to catch up with the recent postings. I`m sure I`ve missed lots of news.

    Back later.

    Happy Easter :EasterBunto everyone xx

Just a quick pop in as I realised Ive been missing for a few days need to catch up on everyones news - sorry to hear that the romance has faded for Sock-knitter - still Im sure there are plenty more balls of wool in the basket ..........

I have my Mother and Father-In-law over for the weekend - nice to see them FIL has been so very poorly in recent months so its been good to see them (have not seen them for 8 months) they are staying at the local Travel Lodge for the night so they have just gone to book in

I have pulled out of my "wip" bag one of those floaty scarves and have been doing that whilst chatting - have managed to get all the squares done (with paw prints on) just need to sew them up now  for the doggie blanket. Am trying to get some odds and ends done before the end of the month with the new challenges on LH's.

Well better go and clear kitchen up before the next "sitting"
Love and hugs to you all - hope you all have a lovely easter - with plenty of choccie! xxx
