    Morning
Nice and sunny here today still cold but it looks better :)

Thank you for your comments and concern for OH I think you are :A
OH managed to get an appointment at the Drs but not until Monday...hopefully his meds will last until then
After such a good couple of weeks he started to go down last week and his taste is awful again, but it goes like that, they said it's a time thing and may last for up to a year
BUT he is still here thanks to the power of prayer, positive vibes from friends and loved ones, surgeons and sheer dogged determination :)

I had a Text yesterday from the hospital telling me an appointment has been booked for Thursday 19th they usually do that and text the day appt before to remind us, so why didnt they do that when they cancelled

mrs-moneypenny - ahh you called me Annie all my friends call me that :) It sounds like you all had a lovely time for OH's birthday I am so pleased you needed a nice day out x
chalky - looking at your broken house makes me think of the lovely afternoon we had with you and the scrummy cream tea and drizzle cake, OH keeps saying "are there any more pictures on yet" must be the builder in him coming out ;)
toots - how exciting I am sooo pleased for you :T
kinsey - I hope things are being sorted out for your brother and he knows a bit more now. You are a lovely sister making sure there is food in the house for him
jean - grass and nettle soup...yuk..._pale_
kathy - ooo lucky you with the ironing, does it happen often ;)
MrsTwins - parcel on its way to you with my Jan Eaton square and a few for the stash :)
f1 - 40 you're just a chicken yet, got a long way to catch me up think I must be the oldest on here, but I'm still in my 30's in my head, that will never change :rotfl:

Did some more on the hex blanket last night, its all stitched together now and I'm quite pleased with it, just a couple more hex's and the edging to do now

Well I must away things need tidying, for some reason everything seems to have got... undone...

Have good days love to all

    Hi everyone

Sorry I've not been around much lately; my mojo seems to have completely disappeared since our return from the UK. Well, make that all my mojos, really! For some reason, I am finding it really hard to settle back into things here; perhaps I had too much of a good time back at home, and the thought that it could take months, possibly longer, before we can move back is getting me down. Hopefully, I'll sort it out in my mind soon!

Pippa - please give your OH a hug from me; it's such a worry for you both, isn't it?

Chalky - it WILL be worth it in the end, despite how you feel right now! Hugs to William, by the way. How is he?

Mrs Moneypenny - hope the twins are doing well.

Anyway, hugs to you all. I will try and keep up with you all!

    Have a great day!

    KathyXX

    morning

Mr Frosty visited us last night...looks nice but sooo cold brrr ...glad we are staying in today...doing just what we like...in my case nothing... unless it involves some woolly stuff ;)

 f1 - sadly no but I wish we could go somewhere nice

started another project last night for Mum she wants some crochet mats to put her Amaryllis(sp)? plants on, she said the pots scratch the hearth, so I went on a silky hunt I knew there was some in my stash somewhere and yep in the last place I looked ...wouldn't you just know it? Finished one off and started another last night, it seems odd working with the very thin stuff, but it looks ok so will finish them off today and then go back to the edging on the hex blanket

right off to post my first update of the year, my sig looks odd with nothing in it :)

TTFN nice warming (((hugs))) for all today
