    Hi boultdj and its good to be nosey,

    Long strips of knitting or crochet..........that are then sewn up together to make a blanket for a homeless person (takes us all far too long to do a whole blanket!)......this was launched as one of Loving Hands winter projects

    Thank's for the answer roamin in the gloamin, I looked on the link's on page95 but could'nt find the answer to that, have said to OH I would like to do knitting/crochering for charity next year seeing as I'v been given a bin liner full of wool, so if you don't mind I'd like to join you ladie's for next year.

    cold and wet here again but wont need to scrape the car when we go out

    Hello boultdj we don't mind nosey :D for me I do 12 x 6" crochet squares and stitch them into a strip, then one of the Loving Hands little elves sew them all together to make an 8 foot x 6 foot blanket, they are then distributed amongst the homeless all over the UK. Have a squizz at the link Jean has posted it will explain that and other things we get involved in, the site was started by a lovely lady named Lou, its worth a read.edit:- please do join us we love new friends here

    I had a nice relaxing afternoon/evening, I turned on the TV and indulged in all the mushy Christmas films, got loads of knitting done as well what can be better than that :)

    William Ivor was born at 8.20 this morning after a 2 and a 1/2 hour labour weighing in at 9lbs 12ozs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All well and I cant stop crying!!!!!!

    kathy i saw that and thought of us as well, we could do a tree between us all that could be turned into good cause blankets

    crocheting an elephant square when i can be bothered but at the mo im cross stitching the twins 1st christmas tree decorations. lily is back in icu after having a cope of ops and infections but shes obviously made of strong stuff because shes a little fighter.
