  • oh SK i feel so desperately sorry for the situation you are in. but you cant live your childrens lives for them and part of growning up is making your own decisions. unfortunately at the moment he seems to be making all the wrong ones. i can understand how you feel but its a decision he alone has made, does he not have some kind of connections advisor. my 16 year old has had quite a few text messages for them checking if he needs help with 16+ decisions. someone should be advising him and im not suggesting you try as he will dig his heels in and do the opposite of anything you think is remotely sensible just to wind you up. if he is supposed to be in some kind of assisted accomodation with help where is the person who is monotering him.
not sure how he will stand with benifits if he has chosen to quit school he may have difficulty getting anything at the moment and if hes now out of education his child benifit will stop he does know that doesnt he? sending more hugs for you

F1 i know how you feel what i want to do and need to do is a rapidly growing list, ive ot so many grand plans for homemade christmas gifts and if i dont get going on hem ill run out of time,

then ie got to plant the hyachincs blubs for the 3 grandmas with the kids. and ive made pickles and a couple of jars of jam for some hampers for them
sort of promised the school stuff for their craft fair so far i have a few knitted flower broches that need safety pins sewing on and some knitted cucakes.
and you can bet the class ive got at school will remember i knitted my previous class stocking last year so will sort of be expecting them.

dont think ill be sleeping much between now and christmas eve LOL but PLEASE keep me on the kystyges squares list and pm me as and when they are needed. ive put my list here just so ive got something to refer back to and cross things off as they are done if i go off on a tangent and start something else can someone remind me christmas is only 14 weeks away.

promised dd ill clean the mice out this morning then got a final few bits to move off the table then i might try and get the bag lining sewn before i go to work.

    afternoon all

I went to the doctors this morning as my wrist was driving me mad, so painful and waking me up in the night, doc said I have Tenosinavitis (sp)? so she gave me anti-inflammatorys for a few weeks and if that doesn't work she said a cortisone injection should do the trick....and I thought it was getting better.....I hope it does soon I really need to be driving again when OH starts his treatment on 19th Sept

kathy - know what you mean, I only feel 21 in my "head" its when I look in the mirror reality hits me, solved that one now though I take my glasses off first :rotfl:but I always say "YOUNG AT HEART is the way to go never mind the picture on the box" :j
jean - how are you? hope monsters didn't wear you out too much.
mrs-m - wow you sure have got your hands full with your wanna do's. Your angel bears sound good is the pattern from one of our sites?
toots - hope all is well with your hospital stay
    chalky - enjoy your weekend
f1 - shame you didn't manage to win anything, but :T well done to your DS

I have managed to do some knitting now and then until wrist got achey. I have a lot of items that have been in my finished bag for a while so will round it all up and do an update this Sunday, the first for a while :o

Off to make a cuppa then going to see my friend Jan and her OH for a catch up chat :)

  • wow mrs mp you will certainly be busy between now and xmas with that list
josh is in supported housing, his support worker tried explaining things to him, but josh lost his temper, and has now asked for a new support worker, he wants one that will agree with him lol
he has a worker from connections who he is supposed to be seeing on monday, an appointment has been made, but it depends on josh's mood on the day wether he decides to go or not.he's been told child tax credits and child benefit will stop if he dosent stay in full time education, but that dosent seem to bother him either, his response to that was to swear at me.
feeling really low, and bought a 2ltr bottle of cider, its been a few weeks since i last had a drink, but boy do i need one tonight
pippa, hope the anti inflammatorys work, i'm missing driving too, and have tried begging my dad to take steering lock off, just so i could see whether or not i could manage it, but dad said no, rightly too in all honesty
    hugs all
