    TO: God.Com

    Dear Lord,

    Every single evening
As I'm lying here in bed,
    This tiny little Prayer
    Keeps running through my head:

    God bless all my "family"
    Wherever they may be,
    Keep them warm
    And safe from harm
For they're so close to me.

And God, there is one more thing
    I wish that you could do;
Hope you don't mind me asking,
    Please bless my computer too.

Now I know that it's unusual
    To Bless a motherboard,
    But listen just a second
While I explain it to you, Lord.

You see, that little metal box
    Holds more than odds and ends;
    Inside those small compartments
Rest so many of my friends.

I know so much about them
By the kindness that they give,
And this little scrap of metal
Takes me in to where they live.

By faith is how I know them
    Much the same as you.
We share in what life brings us
And from that our friendships grew.

    Please take an extra minute
    From your duties up above,
To bless those in my address book
That's filled with so much love.

Wherever else this prayer may reach
    To each and every friend,
    Bless each e-mail inbox
And each person who hits 'send'.

When you update your Heavenly list
    On your own Great CD-ROM,
Bless everyone who says this prayer
    Sent up to GOD.Com

    Amen

Jean - love the snowmen (and snowwomen?) and the lovely words. Glad you are up and running but worried that you are doing a lot!

ISOM - hope you are not feeling too sore after yesterday? Tesco's insurance sounds really impressive!

Mrs Twins - will treat myself to a read of your blogs when I sit down with a coffee later!

It was pouring with rain when I woke up but the sun is out now and it's getting warm.

Well, I have bread to make so I must go and do that along with some other just-as-interesting chores (yawn!).

Hope you all have a great day.

ISOM hope you're a bit better today, goodness what a scare! Tell your mum to have a lovely holiday, you'll miss her loads I'm sure. Gentle hugs so I don't hurt your ribs :)

roamin' the snowmen are awesome, and still breeding? That poem is so true.

Anakat the crib is so pretty, and very clever. How did you get the hood to stand up?

    Maytaurus special hugs.

Chalky the bonkers comment was meant as a compliment, promise. The hairclips are a lovely idea, I can just imagine all those little faces lit up when they open the purses.

Shaz stick to your guns, the boys will learn eventually. I don't blame you for treating yourself to a couple of magazines, just what the doctor ordered. x

Love to everyone, must get off here and do something. xxx

Welcome back, Pippa. Glad you had such a good time, and I hope you and your OH are keeping as well as can be.
The chores didn't include the ironing; not today, anyway, because I happen to be a birthday girl (21 again, of course!). We are off out for a meal later, once the children and grandchildren have all Skyped; they've been texting me and made me promise to stay in until they've called!

Tootifrooti - thinking of you in hospital and hope it's all going well.

Well, that lovely sound of the kettle boiling is coming from the kitchen, so off I go!
