Full -yime -Mum!-- brilliant! -- when all else fails pull hard -- !!!
6.25 is pretty good, every body has a slightly different tension. So glad you are enjoying the knitting! Try increasing to 1 stitch less.
Pulling hard did the trick. Now up to 3. Still a bit early to be asking this but I will anyway...
Do I stitch the squares together or keep them as singles?
Do I hang on to them or does someone keep a central stash?
If I stitch them together, what size blanket am I aiming for?
Thanks
oh yes, one more question what are the difference between KYSTGYSES and Mrs Twins Squares?7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -
only difference between the squares s they end up in different places, mrs twins has a wonderful blog showning the beautiful blankets made for the squares people send her
i think (someone please correct me if im wrong) we get a shout out when kystgyes squares are needed i would keep them single as when they a sewn up they can be added wit others and spread around a blanket to mix the colours knitting styles etc but if sewn in blocks could make an uneven colour dispersal on finished blanket.
flying in as been round mils helping her do an annual finance check and really need to tidy our house after work so doubt ill be back in today
did a few rows on bag handles for niece earlier
hope todays hospital appts go wellSPC~12 ot 124

afternoon everyone, i'm back from the hospital, x rays showed the wires are holding the bones in the correct position,
had to have cast taken off, so they could check the site with the wires was free of infection, and a new lighter weight plaster cst put back on, this one is bright pink.
got to back in 3 weeks to have wires taken out, and see how the bones have healed.
am so relieved as i was dreading another op.
daniel has been to see me for an hour this afternoon, which was lovely, and he hinted but never asked outright for any money :T

Hello one and all x
Shaz Such good news. Glad the "boys" seem to be getting the hint! You will always be there for them but not always with an open purse!
Full-Time-Mum -- So glad the "good pull" did the trick. It always works for me! Keep up the good work!!!! I am in the middle of finishing 4 blankets for our latest KYSTGYSES project and have no more shouts that I know of from "Chalky Land" but obviously someone else in the merry band may shout and the idea is to always have 4 completed squares tucked away so that we can quickly respond if the "shout" is something you would personally want to support.
Kinsey_ Thank you I take "beautifully bonkers " as a real compliment. I really do not believe there are enough eccentrics around. My dad was a classic and my brother does a really good job at following in his footsteps!!
Tooti- Frooti The edging on the cushion is simple picot! I usually start in one corner and hook the wool through a chain from the last row of the cushion. Chain 5 and double crochet in the SAME stitch. Double crochet in the next 4 stitches in the last row of the cushion. 1 Double Crochet in the next stitch, 5 chain,1 Double Crochet in the SAME stitch then Double Crochet in the next 4 stitches. Continue all the way round. You may have to "fudge" it a bit when you get all the way round in case there are not enough stitches but it always seems to work and I love the finish it gives! Hope this helps and is clear if not shout!
Just a little piccie from the "sweat shop"-- machine been smokin!
