    Hello all.
Hope that you are finding ways to enjoy your enforced inactivity Socky.
Hope funeral directors were helpful May

Still very tired and achey from last Wednesday (probably not helped by anesthetic from dentist yesterday) - just hope I am up to hospital scan and funeral of friend by Thursday.

Just re read this - I'm really not as miserable as I sound!

    afternoon everyone
isom, hope your parcel has turned up today
tootifruiti, cant wait to see the finished scarf
seakay, (((big hugs))) hope you feel better and more up to doing things soon
there is knitting everywhere i look in the living room, am planning on boxing it all up and putting it upstairs til i can knit again, as its driving me crazy seeing it sat there and not be able to do it.
have resorted to colouring and dot to dot books, just for somet to do with my good hand, i am not the sort to be sat doing nothing.
seen friends for a coffee this morning which was nice, and they've all had a good laugh with me over the things i can no longer do, for example fastening bras, even making a quick meal like beans on toast involes a phone call to dad to open the tin.
    hugs all

Alas no sign of parcel so will leave it a week and redo...never mind!
Socky sounds a mare-would it be worth investing in an electric tin opener so save you having to be rescued?
seakay hope you feel more your old self soon; didnt think you sounded miserable - just feeling rubbish and theres nothing worse!
yay go tooti! get that scarf done and make sure you show a piccy!
hope people are ok..it has been quiet of late! Would love to think it was because you were all basking in the sun but in view of the fact that there has been very little sun that would be doubtful...so big hugs for the poorlies, sad people, those having to deal with difficulties and generally feeling like wading through a quagmire...Rember that "this too shall pass"...sometimes feels never ending though me thinks.

Hello one and all -- Just wanted to pop on and say Howdie!!! I have tried a few times before but for some reason the site would not let me log in!
Firstly lots of love to all those who are in need of a hug for whatever reason and having a quick glance back it seems like there are quite a few of our merry band who could do with one. Acrobatic kick boxers and bungee jumpers included!!!!!
We are fine and the wedding was wonderful-- lots of happy memories. Since then we have been travelling and enjoying. The weather has been very mixed but must not complain.
I did not think wool and buttons for that matter would be very different here but how wrong I was --- some balls needed some serious rescuing!!! So they are mega squashed in the case along with the wedding clothes!
So I send lots of love to you all x
Try and do a good deed every day.

Morning - just a quick pop in while all is quite in the living room :rotfl:
I need to ask this why is it that WIP's creep up on you and before you know it - YOU HAVE LOADS OF THEM ......................

    I have
    a) Adult Hat
    b) Baby sleeping bag
    c) Throw (made up of squares in autumn colours for village show!)
    d) One secret which when finished will show you pic
    e) pair of mits for friend to use at hand therepy
Some of those to me are "big" jobs I think the throw is now going to be out of the question as I have to do 24 9" squares and im on number two :rotfl::rotfl:(she rolls on floor in hysterics)

and all i keep thinking about is the sorting and clearing out - which i used to get done in a flash years ago now I seem to take months
Lets face it im getting old and I now have a hobby that consumes me:rotfl::rotfl:(oh and i wont mention the ironing pile - i have a team of builders coming in to "make safe" shortly as if it was to fall over it would surely mame someone!)

So im now off to sit with my cuppa & stare into space and think of all the jobs i should be doing - i think my mojo has decided to go on a short break - is it at anyones????

chalky - lovely to hear from you - glad you have rescued some wool xx
Big hugs to all of you and thinking of you all xxx
