Just back from nice trip to get fabric - mum is going to make A's curtains - and ive got more stuff for G's quilt! Fabric is soooo expensive though isnt it!
Made ourselves feel better by having tea at very posh tea rooms in Roath and unusual cake...I had raspberry and white choc which was yummy!

http://www.fabricland.co.uk/
Nearest shop to you is probably Bristol you need to phone your order through but boy are they brilliant I have used them for years and even tho it costs me a bit more to have it shipped here its so worth it.

Evening all! Went and got results of blood test this morning - my Dr on holiday for 3 weeks o ahd to see another. She seemed very friendly and approachable at first but as soon as I started asking questions she stood up and started walking, a pace at a time, towards the door while still talking. She ended u[p with her hand on the door knob while I was trying to find out what on earth she was talking about (well that result is normal for you because you have this condition - (ME) so does this condition cause this result?- (HER) Well this isn't my field so I really couldn't say -(ME) but you just said that this abnormal result is ok because of the condition (HER) well it's not really abnormal
I gave up and came home. Went upstairs to change before making some lunch and realised I just had to lie down. Didn't really sleep but stayed there for four hours.
Will do some knitting this evening so at least I've achieved something today.
ISOM - hope that the virus has been defeated
MAY - thoughts still with you. Hope that you are bearing up and not suffering a physical reaction.
Socky - when you have your own cat you are Alpha animal and make the rules. Possibly the owners of your friends' visiting cat get up and let it out for a wee. My cat has a magnet on it's collar so only she can use her cat door and lets herself in and out at will. She has also been trained to use a litter tray but doesn't like it so it's just for really bad weather. Cats that are older (especially from shelters) have been neuterd so males don't spray around the house and you will be told about their house training etc. hope you enjoyed knitting club.
Mioliere -sorry that emigration didn't work out for your friend but glad that the website resulted in the sale that she wanted
Roamin - love the squares. Don't iron the lily, give it a little spray and then pin the edges into shape and let it dry. That should sort it out without damaging the perkiness of the flower.0 -
seakay, hope your feeling better after the lie down, some doctors are just useless as explaining arnt they?
roaming, love the squares
having heard lots of cat stories and not having the exreriance of looking after them myself, i have decided to go for a smaller pet, something that can live in a cage, and wont destroy my home, or upset my knitting.
have decided to purchase a couple of guinea pigs., have bought a large cage and bedding and food, and am going to choose two girl guinea pigs on sunday. cats are lovely but seem to require a lot of time. had hold of guinea pigs in shop today, they are just so cute and furry.
really enjoyed the knitting club, was much busier than usual, and a bit too noisy towards the end
hugs all

Roamin' one of the biggest pluses about crochet is that you never use the heavy rusty thingy. :T It 'kills' it.
Seakay sorry to hear about the doctor, you wonder sometimes how some people keep a job.
ISOM you sound a bit better, hope so, and glad to hear you and mum had a nice day.0 -

Socky sorry youre not getting a puss cat but it has to be right for youI wouldnt be without mine and shes no bother (ie dont have to clean her out) but she does tend to like to play...!! Think shes had wool overload and does tend to leave it be most of the time!
Busy getting fabric today and mum has already made the curtains for munchkin! Speedy she is! Im still on chopping up diamonds!
