    morning all
    welcome to all the newbies
funny thing is im in exactly the same place as i was about this time yesterday, on the armhole row of a prem gown. 1st one took 3 days but i onlt started this one last night, thanks for help with the pattern ive followed your advice kinsey and done the 1st and last two stitches of every skirt row in knit it keeps the amount of stitches correct and stops it curling.
Pippa it wasnt just an hour of ironing i had i think ive got an hour or two every day for 2 weeks to get mine under ontrol - its a bit like the painting of the forth bridge you almost get it fnished and another lot builds up:rotfl:
ISOM i hope your headache went away
seakay, hope the new meds start giving you an in health improvment soon
SK ill be down the post office at some point this morning
i hope the poorlies are getting plenty of rest and recuperation and jean yes this does mean you as well please try not to be superwoman all the time you put the rest of us to shame
maytaurus hope you are well we do miss you and your wonderfully uplifting postings

tidyed the drive last night and set the rowing machine up - didnt actually go on it the clearing and tidying to get to it took longer than i thought. right going to finish the bodice on this gown and get the kettle on. have a good day all:)

just back, ended up getting into a moaning about tesco conversation with one of the newsagents reps she was saying how many little shops like his are closing down and the big ones taking over. package poste SK should be with you in the next couple of days, i couldnt find my stapler so be careful when you take them out they are all in order but not fixed if you see what i mean.
postbox gets emptied at 11 so i knew as long as i went before then i was ok.

finished the gown and sewed ends in just need to sort ribbon out, should have enough left of that ball for another the same.

im reading a book about lady jane grey at the moment, loved innocent traitor the other ive read about her, DH is taking tomorrow off for our anni so planning on going down bradgate park for a walk - her old family estate and house ruins love it down there its so open and green. dont think id better pack my knitting if its supposed to be romantic us time ;) but i could sit up there and read or knit all day

I went into the L/H forum earlier and found a lovely poem posted by Blue (in general chat)that an old lady had written, and O dear did the tears flow  it really makes you think

mrs-moneypenny - all that ironing you deserve a medal ;)

Found out some of the Bazaar knit books last night and started a knitted rabbit with a little dress on, did'nt have 4ply so used DK on 3mm needles coming out a bit bigger than it should but looks ok
