Oh Elaine, I really did think of you all yesterday, not an easy thing to face. As you say - go grab it while you have the strength to do so, it won't be coming around again.
Great big squishy cuddles to everybody, you know you want one anyway. All missing mojo's are with ME right now, will send them back soon promise.
Oh have hookered another hexagon jacket/cardie thing-ga-mi and hunting out the wool for yet another one..........COMPULSIVE HOOKER in your midst - that will be me then.

Roaming look after my mojo and do send back soon if you could please! Mind you i have been busy!
Last nights knitting group was more of a bloodbath - mum cut her leg and a huge pool of blood unbeknowingly pooled under her! Poor seakay and I took an age to clean it up!! Blood+parquet floor=nightmare!! Sorted it eventually! Not much knitting done after fits of giggles, salt and scrubbing!
hope people are ok...cant believe some totals! Well done folks!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Happycrafter - thinking of you, and sending lots of hugs, too.
ISOM - your poor mum; hope she recovers quickly - thank goodness you and Seakay were there for her.
Jean - I haven't lost my mojo - it's just not getting much attention lately! Where do the hours go? I'm so glad that crochet has clicked with you!
Well, off to the shops then back to online work - at least I'm not bored!

Morning all.
Thanks for all your kind thoughts and special thanks to Roamin Jean for looking after my mojo. Is it enjoying the holiday in your sweatshop ?
Pulled back my big granny square blanket last night as DD thought it looked odd. I`d done random numbers of pink / white rows. eg 3 white, 4 pink, 2 white,7pink etc and she thought it looked daft - so out it came. The only thing I thought looked daft was it was coming out skewiff, sort of slanted. Can some of you experts tell me what I`m doing to cause this, and more importantly how can I stop it. I`ve decided to try starting at different corners when I change colour to see if this helps but it`s trial and error at the moment.
Right coffee break is over so must go and water the greenhouse. Have to put some plants outside to harden off ready for planting in the garden (once I get rid of the weeds) and sort out a big pot with wigwam for some sweetpeas.
Have a good day everyone. Back later maybe.

Elaine - starting off new colours in different corners is exactly how to stop a granny square going 'slanty', so once you start doing that, you'll be on the right track! When I learned that (many summers ago!), I couldn't believe what a difference it made!

Posting all the mojos back to each and every one of you tomorrow........be warned they are coming back to you SUPERCHARGED so you might want to have an early night tonight in preperation for their return, you have all been warned........YES and you F1, Shaz - get ready it will be landing about lunch time. PSSO - hanging onto yours till Friday morning - but you are getting it back in time for the Perth Knitting Show. ISOM - keeping yours till friday afternoon - you will recognise the return by working in some really LIVID COLOURS (scrumptious) for at least one garment - then off course you will all be fixed.
Bum - just remembered I didn't open the greenie this morning.........oops..........later then eh!

Thanks for that info Kathy, good guess I had. But does it make any difference which corner I start at again. I`ve been doing the next one along if you see what I mean. Finish at corner, slide along to next corner and restart. Always going to the next corner on the left, would that work ok or should it be something else ?
Hope the plants in the greenie are OK Jean and not frizzeled to a frazzle. Look forward to seeing knitting mojo again, although crochet mojo is getting hold now so might have a fight on my hands.
ISOM - hope mum`s leg is OK. Don`t envy you having to cope with blood on parquet though, not the easiest job.
Off to put my feet up with wool and hook and do abit more of my blanket. Might have a small `medicinal` to help me sleep as it has gone all to pot again. Not really a drinker, but I could get used to a nightcap maybe.;)
