Thank you all for your kind thoughts you really are a lovely caring bunch of friends xx:A
OH had the facial scan on Friday and the doctor said it is a tumour but in his opinion it could be benign.
We came out and were almost at the car park when the Doctor came running after us, he said the biopsy taken in April did'nt have enough cells in it and OH needed another one, so back we went and they did it there and then. Pleased about that as it will save another wait
Trouble is the results wont be through in time for his appointment with the consultant tomorrow afternoon.
OH rang the secretary and she will speak to the lab to see when it will be ready then another appt can be made.
But benign or not it has to come out, so thats where we are at the moment
psso, happycrafter gentle (((hugs))) for you both x
Tell you what though I have been crocheting up a storm the last few nights loads of granny squares done, don't have to think about them

Thank you so much
Funeral is tomorrow due to the Easter and bank holidays this was the first free date.
In a way I am glad it was only 9 days, it was hard enough in that short space of time it would have been worse if it had gone on for months. He never complained at all was so strong.
The Macmillan nurses have put in a complaint and we have had a phonecall from the hospital apologising and saying they are looking in to it all.
going to go and rumage through my wool pile need to keep busy tonight.0 -
Hi everyone
Happycrafter - you and your family are in my thoughts, especially today.
Pippa - let's hope the lump is benign and that it can be taken out asap. It's a worrying time for you, so I wish you both well.
Lots of gentle and cuddly hugs to all who need them; it's a sad time on our thread right now.

Anakat - two years is a long long time! I haven't seen my sons and their families for eight months now, and I'm finding it really difficult to have to wait until we can go. Two years must have seemed like forever! I hope you have a lovely time with them.
I've done the update (which can be found by clicking into my name at the side of this post, then going to my 'homepage'. As usual, please let me know if there are any mistakes! They can be easily put right, thanks to Jean's lovely spreadsheet!
Shaz - as your mum doesn't post on here, please thank her on our behalf - her totals are wonderful; she has now done 101 hats, besides all the other lovely things she has made!
I hope everyone's day goes as well as can be.

cant seem to find my mojo, has anyone seen it?
at mo just making granny squares to sew into a blanket, cant seem to get into my knitting just now
love shaz xxxloves to knit and crochet for others0 -
Hey shaz, your knitting mojo has maybe run off with mine !! It has been awol for a while now.
I`ve been doing crochet granny squares for the past few weeks as knitting just wasn`t working for meCan`t seem to concentrate and patterns I`ve done umpteen times don`t work out properly.
I`m going to the Knitting only show at Perth this Saturday so hoping to tempt mojo back with some touchy, feely, squeezy time.
They do say a change is as good as a rest so maybe changing to crochet is a good idea. Never thought I`d say it but I`m getting quite `hooked` on it now - happy to continue with grannys though and absolutely NO desire to try to get my head round reading a bloomin` pattern.:rotfl:
Funeral yesterday went OK. DD and DS both took it quite hard, especially at the graveside. Had a bit of a wobbly minute myself in church when the minister started talking about SiL & BiL`s holiday in Canada because we were planning Jim`s dream trip to Niagara Falls but never made it.Biggest regret of my life, waiting to save a bit more spending money.
Also found out BiL was due to fulfil his dream on Tuesday (today) when he acquired his very own vintage tractoranother dream gone down the pan.
Just shows you - you should grab life by the horns and not wait till tomorrow, cause tomorrow sometimes doesn`t come.
If there`s something you`ve always wanted to do or see - and you can afford it - do it now while you can, before it`s too late.
OK sermon over. Sorry.
Anyway, special thoughts to happycrafter, and anyone else who is trying to cope with serious illness or recent bereavement.
The support from friends on here is invaluable as I know from experience.
Hugs to all who need them.
