 Hello and belated Happy New Year to all.
Not been here for ages as had the usual visit from Edna Bucket during December but just managing to shove her and the Black dog out the door. Roll on Spring and some sunshine.
Been lots of flooding round here so was lovely to see some sunshine for a wee while today.

Well my challenge to myself this year is to make 150 hats of various sizes. I beat my challenge for 2015 of 100 by doing 126 I think it was, memory fade.......So here goes for this year. Did some for a local homeless people's charity so they will be in line for some more.

Nice to see some new faces popping in, welcome if you are a newbie, join in we don't bite and it isn't compulsory to read right from the beginning.:rotfl:

    Pippa.S Wouldn't that be nice.

We are not settled in yet we moved less than a week ago. We did what decorating we could until Christmas then we had to pack. Just have books and a few ornamental things to do then we will be finished. We did not paint the doors so they still need doing. No room to do them now we are in it's so very tiny. I will have to get rid of most of my books just don't have room for a book case.

We are at present trying to use each space five times. There is just no where to put anything.

A belated Happy New Year to you all.

I don't like getting rid of books so I sort into piles..1-craft...2-unputdownables... 3- will read again...only ever got rid of half a dozen or so...just can't let them go:o

Hi guys, back in the mists of time, there were several people who knitted beanies for Africa. I am usually based in new zealand, and have a contact over there that sends them out, but was wondering if it was still done from here in the UK. I am flying home tomorrow and it does seem a bit pointless to carry finished had home (and every gram counts lol). So does anyone have an address? I have tried checking the thread but can't see anything obvious
    Thanks in advance

Hello all, good to see more posts here. I'm worn out from having the grand children in shifts :rotfl: Dgs last night then took him to school and picked up Boo ( Bethany) such a smiley baby. Dd was having a driving lesson hence me minding baby but it was cancelled last minute so Dd had a snooze which she really needed.

Nipped to my friends wool shop for a ball of yarn - yes just one :eek:and picked up some money from my things she had sold and an order for a doll :j

Hubby is not too good lately and has been in bed since his spine injections last week but has been up most of today then when we took baby home he retired to the couch with a blanket and hot water bottle.

Well early night in order for me xx
