Busy making sock babies for Dds baby shower and finishing some orders :j Lots to get finished before I start on the C word :o and the arrival of wee grand daughter in September. So much to do at the moment but its keeping me out of the rain.

Had a day in Morecambe last week and it was lovely and warm - bought yarn of course and ordered some from wool warehouse and Kemps :T just to much of a bargain to ignore - I blame certain people for mentioning these places and letting me wander online unchaperoned :rotfl:

Well sounds like you had a wonderful time in Malta Nursmaggie - you keep saving the pennies so you can get all those saved up cuddles from the grandson. Been trying to do the 30 day de-clutter and have stalled at day 15 - not good so starting again tomorrow and must finish it. Am still doing DS's 'coast' wavey blanket but very nearly finished which will let me go and start on something far more exciting. Like you Ginnyknit not quite ready for the C struff but it doesn't ever go away and I know that snowpeeps will not make themselves. Glad you had a great day out at MOrcambe and yarn as well ! How is the cardigan coming along Mrs Moneypenny? I shall go and do an update - thanks PippaS you reminded me I hadn't added mine either. Back with a link in a bit.

Hello all, hope things are good with you.

What are you making at the moment Mrs MP?

I did the sock babies and now am doing some more to sell hopefully.

Had a tense week with benefits form filling in. I took me a week to gather all the info I needed - very stressful. I posted them today and have been shaky ever since - if I got them wrong we will lose the car and hubby will be inconsolable. The only thing he can do is drive. I just pray the DWP see we are honest people struggling with serious illness.

Well it worked...can't understand it ...

we are having a wonderful time this week we have the girls for the whole WEEK...picked them up from their Mom at Beaconsfield services last Sunday and haven't stopped since, so far we have been to ...
Bourbon-on-the-Water for a wander round the village and a visit to the bird sanctuary, sat by the river for and had something to eat and just watched all the comings and goings.Next day we went over to Akamba it is an African heritage site with botanical plants and HUGE metal animals cafe,a sort of beach, bird walk and it is wonderful the girls love it we picked DGS up and it was so good to see them all together having loads of laughs and running around... Next day we went over to Tolkien country and paid a visit to Sarehole Mill where J R R Tolkien got the idea from for The Hobbit and later The Lord of the Rings, and went blackberrying in the woods at the back...we were all worn out when we got back.
We had something to eat while we were out...their choice..and they all wanted to go to Subway..surprised us as we weren't looking forward to another visit to McD.
They go home tomorrow so it's packing today and a short trip out somewhere

ginnyknit - I hope you managed to get all the forms sent off and had a good result

mrs-money penny - how's your little DGS coming along bet he is growing fast x

Well better go bathroom is at last free so I can go have my shower TTFN love to you all Annie xx

Very quiet here the girls are back with their Mommy and Daddy, their bedrooms are put to rights and everything is packed away ready for the next visit... we had a wonderful time, they are 9 and 11 now and are a credit to their parents, well behaved, polite and eat anything that is put in front of them...full of energy and loads of fun...doting grandma me??? well just a bit...a big bit :rotfl:

I hope you are all lucky and have the lovely weather we have here in Birmingham, its so good to feel warm and get out in the garden ferreting about yanking a few heads off and generally tidying... probably wont be able to move tomorrow though,

well better go get some grub organised TTFN Love Annie xx
