Sorry Annie, Ginny and all. I've not delbrately left you alone, I've just been so busy I don't seem to have had time to pop in.
DS2 has gone back to school today so that been work is looming for me as well.
I've been knitting some little Christmassy type baby bits for a neighbours who's first grandchild is due on 21st dec
Then I've been trying to finish a cardi I started for myself ages ago.
then I've got cross stitch I want to do for Christmas the. I bought a quilting set at the carboot which was an absolute bargain but is a real time thief!

DGs is cute as a button can't believe he's four months old now and a cheeky little lad, if you stick your tongue out at him he does it back and gives a really cute smile.
Also can you believe my gorgeous little niece Lola will be four next month how that time has flown!!! She is a real little beauty and so full of life and character.

I do hope everyone is well, I think of you all often I just haven't seemed to find time to come in.

The Mail on Sunday has a voucher tomorrow for a free ball of wool from Hobbycraft worth £10.
I'm guessing that's going to be a 400g ball and the newspaper is only £1.60 - bargain!

Thanks Appolonia thats a bargain! Mrs Mp what a bsy time you are having. Doesnt time fly ? Lola is 4 already! We are waiting for Dd to have baby number 2 , she is due on the 9th - excited :j She is going to be called Bethany.

Dgs is struggling with the holidays he just wants to be back at school with his days set out for him.

How can it be nearly September?? Im going to start Christmas next week or I wont get it all done.

Thanks, Appolonia. I got a free ball of WI yarn from Hobbycraft a while ago but that was only 100g.

I've started my Christmas knitting-hat for DD2 is in the present drawer, scarf for DD1 is being blocked and mitts for DH are in my knitting basket hidden under a scarf for the Christmas child shoebox. I can only work on them while he's out.

I can measure DHs mitts against a pair he's already got but I want to do a pair for SIL.I've no idea how big his hands are. I know he takes a size eleven shoe which is bigger than DH so I'm assuming his hands will be bigger too.

I just wanted to say thank you for this, I never noticed until my Local Hobbycraft was closed but I've bought the paper anyway.

It says only 750 available per store, has anyone managed to get one?

Oh and it's the Women's Institute wool which is on offer I think 3 for the price of 2 too and I was going to be getting the 400g of Aran Wool anyway if still on offer.

Apollonia - Just popped in to thank you for your post about the Wi free yarn at Hobbycraft called in there today and managed to get a 400gr ball of Aran yarn worth £10 and all it cost was the price of the newspaper...the offer finishes on 5th September I think.

Just been into Pinterest and lost a whole HOUR looking at the Christmas makes... I really must get started for the girls Christmas Fayre at school...its getting so close now and if i dont make a start I will never have anything ready...
