F1 so glad you are back to knitting it will keep your mind still.

Im knitting tiny owls with 4 ply on 12's needles and enjoying the feeling of tiny needles. Its a pattern I made up from a wee owl I bought on a charity stall. I figure if my stall in July is at a primary school I need lots of cute bits and bobs at 99p each. I will post a pic tomorrow.

Jean, I hope your hubby listens to sense soon, I can totally understand your worry as I have it all the time with mine and he is very disabled but seems to forget that fact. Men are brought up to think they are invincible and its hard to realise they are not but its tough when the are about to do something irresponsible and dangerous.

He doesn't listen - but then he never has so it's situation normal. I shall keep myself busy while he is away and try not to get any more grey hair worrying.

Just to let you all know that yesterday I did the techie thingie on behalf of Kathy and we now have a group facebook page............if you are a facebook member you can find it under this link below

Knit Your Square to Give Your Share

but I will also point out that this thread on MSE will continue running so not a problem if you don't want to join f/b. Links and photo's will be posted in both places, when I work out just how to do it. I should also say that that link just worked for me - let me know if it works for you as well if you are a member or not.

Lots of love to you all - because you so deserve it. Doc has referred DH to the vein man (end of March) - cos his leggies, ankles and feet are not going down with this second lot of tab-a-letts, but has prescribed him with some rather fetching long socks for his trip to the UK, saying it would all be fine - well I know when I am beat - will await his return to pick up the pieces.
Diddle diddle dumpling my husband John - went to bed with his trousers on one SOCK off and one SOCK ON diddle diddle dumpling my husband John.

Try not to worry too much Romin we will probably all do it for you anyway.

Sorry MIA feeling sick all the time plus several other side effects from Cancer treatment. Ill have to go to Dr next week sick of asking for more anti sickness tablets. GP says Hospitals department and Hospital says GP's meanwhile I am supposed to take 3 a day but make 28 last 30 days. As the American's say "do the math".

Got 3 WIPS on the go two cardigans and a scarf for my brother. Got over 300gms left from one cardigan, just button bands to do, and it is my brothers colours. They are from the Ald! yarn it has knitted up really well.

    Hi all

Nurse Maggie - not fair when the departments can't sing from the same sheet , you have enough on without trips to docs every 5mins , things should be made smoother for you - I'm assuming the tablet problem is that they only dish out a month at a time but can't work out you need probably 90 tabs not 28/30 ... Had the same problem with one of mine until Dr finally cottoned on I needed 56 not 28
Do you have a Specialist nurse who can help get it more streamlined for you? Sending you a big virtual hug xxxx

Roamin - I really think Young John needs the naughty step ! Hope the vein man can help in March xx my crochet is thus (I don't think its that great but I'm getting there) because of the brilliant teacher I have - kisses and hugs xxx

Well hubby is radioactive for a while :D he has been for his MRI ready for the SAT NAV for the operation - had a date for op end of April - he is upbeat about it, for the moment , not sure nearer time he won't change his mind ;)

As roamin says you all need a big hug you all deserve one xx have a lovely weekend all if you can xx

Well that will save on the electric F1 if he is glowing just switch the lights off and knit by the light he gives off :o Im sure he is scared silly and not letting on - men never do.

Maggie, hope the docs see sense. I have a dedicated nurse at the end of the phone for OH.

Saw the scan pic of my new grand baby earlier. They are very clear now but wont know what flavour it is for a while.

Going for a long relaxing bath after a stressful week.

  • f1 could we use your husband to cook the dinners? like the micro? (sorry it's no laughing matter) I just picture him re-setting the telly or the clock etc as he wanders around the house.

Ok the f/b page is up and running but I wanted to make sure that the patterns links and photos are all on here as well. so when himself sods off this afternoon I will sit down and get the links all over onto the forum, should only take a minute or two but right now he is getting in the way of my brainwaves!!! Back in a bit till then you all better be behaving.

Thanks for the patterns Roamin I can see how to hold it from the diagrams. I think I will be OK with that. Diagrams are easier than patterns.
Yes I do have a nurse F1 she is not easy to get hold of and I never see her when I go to the hospital. She only works part time. I know it is my GPs responsibility to prescribe anything other than my cancer drug. They just wont accept it. I would change Drs if we were not moving soon. Public transport is so bad here we decided to move into Manchester to help DS get a job.

DS starts his OU Degree course in April and we hope he can get at least a part time job.
