today I will be working on more mitred granny squares (top left of picture) then I will hunt out a couple of other square patterns - no point in me trying to make it all with the same on - I would be fed up with that........

At a bit of an impasse really. Finished baby blanket this afternoon. Do I knit owls? Do I knit hedgehogs? Do I look for something in my stash - have yarn for 2 Aran cardies (plus all the rest!)? Do I go to the wool shop tomorrow?

    Answers on a postcard please!

Hello lovely cyber sisters. Hope all the " grandma's to be " are fine. Lucky things!!!!!
All well here. Willuam has suddenly decided he is not going to try anything new again and explained. " well Grandma the piece of pepper I tried made me open my mouth and be sick so it's best not too! "

Of course Mummy doesn't agree so a battle is ensuing at the moment. I remember his Daddy being the fussiest eater on earth and I just want to say ignore him BUT I am keeping a promise I made to myself as a mother in law and keeping quiet.
He has a sticker chart on the fridge and so far no progress !!! I woke up in the night and thought of them.. Ahhhhhh! Dubai seems a long way away! But on the positive we go on a visit in a month. It's nearly 18 months since our last .

Well Doh is cooking tea so must be ready.

Love to each and every one of you and the gentlest thoughts to all those with full to overflowing plates just now!!!
    Xxxxx
