    Morning all
    Hope everyone is well
Jean love the crochet squares they are so bright and cheerful!
Roamin had to smile at the not adventurous eating DS2 would happily live on pizza noodles and coco pops if we'd let him.
In the final month of waiting now DD2 wants a home birth so has one more week to wait till that's allowed babe is due at the end of the month when. She came round last weekend after not seeing her for a week she looked like she'd doubled in size even DD1 joked she'd stuffed a beach all up her dress for effect.
Got another couple of little hats knitted but not sewn up yesterday then did some stitching, will start another hat today as mil has a Drs appt so it will be good for in the waiting room

    Have a lovely day all

Those trying their hand at crochet here are a couple of links of things to make using squares (they are US terms and sizes) but if you get stuck we can convert them all - no problem.

Off to do a bit of poly tunnel digging today, but will pop in later.
Lots of love and cuddles to you all.

I've got one in our bedroom!

Someone down the road has about five in a row in their front window it looks lovely walking by at night when they are all bubbling away in their different colours.
Shall we start a bring back tie die and lava lamp campaign??
We could even crochet waistcoats, well you could I'm not that clever LOL

I always wanted a cheese cloth blouse but my mum wouldn't let me. All the popular girls at school wore them with black bras underneath. Maybe that's why they were so popular:eek: I really was naive when I was young.:rotfl: No wonder mum said I would thank her when I was older when she refusd to allow me one

Been busy playing furniture Tetris involving a piano and a couple of settees so no knitting done today, sewing machine needs to come out now as I've promised to do some mending and make DD3 a mermaid top for book day tomorrow.

At least all the he stuff should be done by the weed so I can knit and stitch then.

Hope all are well, hugs if you need them

  • I wasn't allowed any cheese cloth till after I had my son and I was married..... mums eh! I will take one of your hugs - feel I deserve it, today - I made and baked some rolls, did a bit of digging in the poly tunnel, then turfed out FIVE of the kitchen cupboards, cleaned, sorted and shoved stuff all back in - only another 12 to go - sometime, I then decided the oven could do with a clean - boy will I never learn, its sparkling now but the shelves are in an awful mess. I am off to look online for those bags for shelves that clean them all by themselves because I just know they won't be on sale in my bit of France.
Ye all have a terrific day

I find enough hot water in the bottom of the bath to cover the shelves along with a good handful of biological washing powder shifts most things. I used thos bags once they are good but a bit of a faff as you have to make sure all bits of the shelves area coated in the gloop by rubbing it round them through the bag. I also jiggers some aluminium baking trays by not realising you aren't supposed to put them in that chemical oops!

    Mending almost done
Ariel has a mermaids bikini top to wear tomorrow
    DD2 has cushion covers
    DHs has nearly hems shorts
DD1 has jeans with legs the right width for her
And believe it not not I actually darned a pair of zombie socks for Ds2
Just one pair of jeans with a ripped knee left to do for Ds1 but they will have to wait now
