Just calling in to wish you all a very very Happy Christmas. I expect everyone has been really busy, but I hope you're all finding time to relax. We're having dinner with friends tomorrow so no hectic cooking for me. I'm in charge of starters but I made them all today. I shall be talking to the family on Skype tomorrow before we leave. I shall be missing them, but feel blessed that they are all well and happy. Have a wonderful day!

    Hello,
I am a winter knitter and have exhausted my knitting ideas for this winter. I have looked on loving hands but it seems a bit out of date.

Who and what do you knit for charity as I would love to help.

I have tried searching your thread but I keep thinking how many rows I could be doing whilst searching!

    Thank you in advance.

Welcome red rose, I'm knitting for the local maternity hospital at the mo they can never have enough little hats, ask at your local hospital and see if they need anything.

Hi Redrose, I am still knitting hats, scarves, gloves and socks for the Mission to Seafarers details of their patterns and their freepost address on

    http://www.missiontoseafarers.org/support-us/other-ways-to-help/knit-for-us

I think we are all conscious of how much postage is costing these days and are trying to find places to donate locally. I also donate via my sisters local hospital baby unit.

Do you have a 'favourite' item you like to knit? Local homeless drop in centres are always happy to accept hats, scarves etc.

Being yelled at to get some form of food onto the table so I had better scoot - hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

Just nipping in after a stressful afternoon taking Dgs to a party at the local jungle gym type place - hell on earth for us and difficult for Dgs though he does love it mostly. He is now sat on the sofa with his headphones on playing a game on his tablet and eating fish finger butties :D

Sending much love to all my dear friends here xx

As 2014 is coming to a close I am reflecting on the good things that have occurred in my life this year - the negative and rotten stuff is being ignored....... See you all next year
