From step one, what does "sign digitally" mean. I am going to print the letters out, so not sure how to sign digitally!! Edit: I presume you mean type the name and that is it!
Many thanks, as always.
In addition, this is a stupid question, but which address do I send to? Do I look it up on the net? Thanks.
Hiya

Send to the address on file, i.e. the registered office address (I explained this before - just go to the website and click Contact Us -> Complain - then get the postal address.2010 - year of the troll

Niddy always recommends that you sign digitally so that they can't use it to fabricate agreements :rotfl::j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Thanks. That doesn't seem to quite fit our circumstances, but I think I've got an idea of what we will do. I'll update the thread later. Cheers!0

Hiya
Replied to your email, basically I said it may be worth just signing - don't worry too much about it. The point isn't the siggy, but the address. All you have to be able to do is list one of the addresses that was used throughout the running of the account for them to prove identity - of course it may not match, so what! My old Post Office account will have my address when I opened it 28 years ago, but they can still trace me and I was surprised to get a nice little cheque through even though i've lived at like 20 addresses since then!
All she should do from here is sign, as requested but adding a full stop to the end or similar, something that you guys would know proves that they have cut/paste it (if necessary).
Although this is HSBC who are, reasonably good, they don't fabricate agreements like Lloyds/RBS do!2010 - year of the troll

Thanks again Niddy. Halifax/ HBOS have asked for previous addresses to locate her on the system. I presume this is because, though a debt management company know of her parents' address, the debt wasn't taken out at that address. As I asked you by email, supplying Halifax/ HBOS with previous addresses doesn't compromise anything, does it?
Cheers for your help once again. I'm overwhelmed by the support and direct help!0
