As much fun as a few of you are having learning english...........let me point out a couple of BASIC things about this site.
Members do not have the power to remove posts. Only BGs, and the abuse team can do this. Any disputes over removal of posts can ONLY be dealt with by the abuse team. The abuse team is the ultimate authority for enforcing rules on this site.
This subject is about posting exes and zip files on this thread. This has been dealt with before by the MSE team. They have pointed out clearly why they don't want them posted here.
There are too many posts on this site for the team to monitor them all. They ask all members to report posts that break the rules of the site. They only act on the reports if they feel the post in question does not comply with rules on posting here. If there is nothing wrong with the post, they will leave it alone.

I've seen what can happen when a forums rules have been continually ignored. It ultimately damages the whole site, and changes the charactor/feel of the site. If you want to see this happen here that's fine, but I (and others) don't want this to happen. This means we have to respect the rules put in place by the team, and not show ignorance by thinking that we know what's better for the site. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

So where is it documented that you aren't allowed to post a link to a zip file? (The direct link to the exe was gone very early on). The site is so cluttered, and full of rules, I have no idea..
There does appear to be a control freak mentality going on in this forum, threads getting locked and deleted for no apparent reason. The owner has the right to do that, but I do take umbridge when my time is wasted when I'm trying to help people.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
