The post must have been removed.
As far as the signature link and xls file..........
Yes it has been checked and given permission (by the MSE team). It is an xls because it's a spreadsheet! I know the source of this file because I am hosting the site. There have been over 2500 views, and many hundreds of downloads from this site already. Not one complaint yet!How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

i knew it was a spreadsheet LOL as xls is the extension for Excel files, all i was saying is that it maybe worth putting on your site then that the file is virus free as macro viruses are pretty nasty cheers0

I know about macro viruses, but I don't feel the need to add any warnings on the site. I know for a fact that the download is clean. This page has been created for one reason only. This download on this site. It's not there for any other reason. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

i dont understand one moment you were saying about warning posters on this site about posting exe files on the forum and yet we are meant to trust an external source to download a file we know nothing about i just thought a small bit of text saying completely virus free i mean its ok to put blind faith in your file from your site but no-one elses? i just thought a bit of text on your site would of promoted downloads because then people would of been in the knowledge that the file is safe but at the moment theres nothing to say its clean

I do understand your point, but if you look on the instructions page, you will see the background of this spreadsheet, who created it, a method of contacting the author, and me in case of problems. It has also been checked out, and endorsed by the team (also mentioned on the instructions page).
I need to make a change soon to the page. If I remember, I may include a disclaimer including viruses. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Rex's concerns were addressed, so why was the post removed? The link to an exe was gone, and there was a link explaining the zips. Mountain and molehill.. If you think links to a zip are a problem, then remove those links instead of deleting the whole post which makes a nonsense of the rest of the thread.
I don't know why I waste my time! In future, I'll be tempted to answer a problem with one link https://www.google.comEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
