In a car I will always stop at red, on a bicycle, I would only stop if there was a cop car in the vicinity.

When cycling, I always stop at red lights. The only exception has been on vehicle-triggered lights at roadworks at night, when the front light on my bike isn't bright enough to switch it to green. Even then, I'll cycle just inside the cones in case something comes the other way.

as a cyclist it annoys me when cyclists go through red lights, annoys me more when they don't have a crash helmet on too!

so stopping at the lights gives me a breather and then a good cardio pulling away from the cars and getting up to speed

Not to mention the geniuses (genii?? I'm obviously not one!) who cycle around in the dark WITHOUT LIGHTS - do you have a death wish?!

use your time at the red lights to catch your breath, have a sip of water, skip a track on the mp3 etc :D

It should be compulsory for cyclists to have insurance. They can cause accidents and damage to other road users too!

bloody hell that makes me hate them even more.. i wouldn't be surprised if any of them are killed any times soon
But that's a bunch of risk takers on youtube, not your average cyclist. "Hating" people is a worrying attitude to take, especially when coupled with ignorance about what it's like to cycle on a busy road.

Thats moronic! Do traffic rules not apply to you? I nearly knocked one over the other day who was doing that. Guess whose fault it would have been?

    Cheers
